The DE concert was SOOOOOOO GOOD! I only wish i was in the front row so i could high five you or catch a water bottle. Oh well, it was still AWESOME from the stadium seats. I LOVED IT and wished i could have gone to the Hershey concert too. I hope you guys come out with a new cd soon because i am definetly going to buy it!

Boy, and I thought I was hooked on this band before the concert! Ask me now and I'll tell you that if I dont get myself to another concert soon, I am going to go through withdraw. The day was amazing, the weather was amazing, and of course Daughtry, as always, was amazing!

The whole day was kinda surreal for me. I kept saying to my sister that even though we were at the venue w/tickets in hand, it still was inconceivable to me that I was going to be seeing this beautiful man that I have been in awe over since, what feels like forever!

The opening band came on (12 stones) and they were just okay. They interacted with the crowd and tried to get them up out of their seats but in my opinion, were not sucessful. There was a turning point though, the lead singer had mentioned that he and Chris co-wrote a song and introduced the song - halfway through it says "ladies and gentlemen, Chris Daughtry" I looked up and there he was singing with 12 stones. Funny, because you could tell the song was much different from the other songs this band sang...they were very loud and hard and with this song you could just tell Chris had something to do with it...still hard but just a bit more mellow! Chris left the stage to let them finish their set which they did and then it was show time!

The crowd was roaring before the guys even came out. The lights were out and all you could see were shadows onstage and then a flash of light and there they were! They rocked every song and had the crowd out of their seats the entire time. In fact, I remember Chris saying something like "it looks like all the seats had been swallowed up" He looked and sounded perfect as always and I was thrilled that they did "What about Now" and Chris and Joey doing "fell on black days" was amazing! They left the stage and said their goodbye's and the crowd starting chanting...Daughtry...Daughtry. They came back out and did "Home". I love how Chris has the ability to change up his vocals to make the songs sound different yet still alot like the originals on the (cd). In my experience when I have seen other bands live, they don't sound anything like their albums. Chris keeps his performances true to the originals yet he still dares to throw in some changes and every song is perfection!

As for my sign...it made it up on the big screen quite a few times and I almost caught a water bottle that Chris had just drank from but it landed on the seat right in back of me (big sigh)

Once the show was over, I told my sister that I wanted to scope out the bus in hopes of catching a glimpse and maybe an autograph. I didnt see a bus just some vans and trailers. Then, we saw them! They were standing around the vans with a small group of people. At one point, someone looked over and waved but I couln't make out who it was. I'm guessing they just wanted to call it a night because the guys never did come over to sign any autographs as they just boarded the van and drove away. I was a little disappointed since the small group that had gathered around me waited very quietly and patiently for them to come over. I can totally understand though, since they just rocked their faces off!
Oh well, I guess there's always the next concert!!

I think I am speaking for most of your fans when I say, I have loved you from day 1 on American Idol. I honestly stopped watching the show when they sent you home. Now look at you...hotter then ever. I was so happy and excited to see you in concert this past week. You guys rocked!! I can't wait for you to come back around my area so I can see you perform again. Your voice can honestly give me goosebumps! I want to congratulate all of you on your success, and wish you a safe and enjoyable tour.

wow..ive like u since u tried out for american idol and i finally saw one of ur concerts! no left unhappy in delaware and it was definitly the best day of my life..u need to play in NJ sometime!

Wow, what a concert. Delaware will never be the same. Daughtry put on the best show ever. What can I say, it was flawless…absolute perfection. I have been a fan since American Idol when I told my husband the first time I heard Chris sing that I would be buying his CD and attending his concerts. I saw Daughtry in Hershey with Staind and Nickelback and thought he was great then. But the show in Delaware was the BEST! I look forward to the next great CD from Daughtry and will be attending many more concerts. If you have not seen Daughtry in concert, you don’t know what you’re missing. Chris, you and the boys have a long career ahead of you and I will remain a fan 4ever. Keep rocking.

DAUGHTRY was absolutely AWESOME at Harrington....AGAIN!

This was my third time seeing the band and I have LOVED every show! They get better and better live! Looking forward to York in September!! : )

I agree that the seating situation was messed up...a lot of people pushed up to the front and blocked the view of some folks in the front row. Some older women were in the front and it was a shame they couldn't get the view they paid for because of some REALLY ignorant teenagers. This is no fault of the band...the so-called "security" was seriously lacking at this event. I blame the fair management for the fiasco.

I hear there's a banging pic of the band in the News Journal today...I don't usually get the paper but I'll be getting a copy today!

Outstanding performance! Chris and the band members poured their hearts and souls into the show. Great crowd response from all ages. Cudos to Chris! From an outside perspective, it seems that his personallity is still "grounded", the life changes don't appear to have gone to his head" Best of luck in future endeavors.

I missed you in Hershey, PA bcuz of traffic nightmare!!! Somehow, I was lucky enough to score 5th row seats for DE State Fair. Well, I had a blast! You were so close that I could see the scruff on your beautiful face! You have an amazing gift of talent and you deserve to have a HUGE, LONG career making music!! I knew from the moment you sang your first note on IDOL that I would someday be attending your concert!

Tonight was my first live show and it was incredible!! I took my two daughters, ages 9 & 11 for their first concert ever, and fortunately my husband remembered to bring earplugs for them! Daughtry rocked the house! Just sad the band didn't have the opportunity for photos/ autographs afterwards, but I know they had to catch a flight to get to British Columbia!! for their next show. You guys sure are seeing alot of the world lately! Chris do you miss Crown at all??! Hope to see you again live soon!

Bummed no opportunity for M&G, but the poster would be the icing on the cake! We are a DAUGHTRY family!

As with everyone...I have been a fan every since you tried out for american Idol. I cried when you made the cut and your wife made me cry even more...because of the love that she has for you. Me & my husband share the same love for each other. He was a huge fan and said right from the start that he would buy your album in a heart beat...as you performed our passion for your voice and music was solid. We both have been sick with different illness and my husband's birthday is next month and If I could win these tickets for him to see you...well that would be a truely an awesome gift for him and myself included. Thanks, I have never been to a concert EVER and I had to work the day they went on sale. Wasn't able to get any. I have been searching but barely have any time to do anything anymore so was never in time to get tix. My husband said the seats are okay, I have no clue about seating, I'm just so psyched that I get to go!!!! I have never been to a concert, was supposed to go to NC to see New Found Glory but daughter was too young and I was worried about leaving her and being that far away. Harrington is only 30 minutes away and she's 2 now so I think I will be okay I can't wait. I guarentee I won't be doing much sleeping for the next week. Sooooooo Excited!!!!!!!
