This CD is just amazing!!!! Chris Daughtry sings every song with such emotion and with so much heart!! I bought it in July when it was released and I still cant stop listening to it. Its like having sunshine everyday!! I wish I knew what inspired Open your Eyes to be written because it really hits home, and listening to it is comforting. I have been a huge fan since day 1 on American Idol and I havent stopped. I have just become a bigger fan!!! You guys are awsome!! Keep up the fantastic work. Please dont ever stop making music because talent like that is once in a lifetime!! love you guy!!!

I had a hard time believing that Daughtry, as amazingly talented as they are, could out-do their first album. However, I was proven wrong! Chris tested his vocal range and abilities far more on Leave This Town than he did on the first album and the guitars were amazing. I hope to hear some more heavier material on the third album, which I am already patiently waiting for!

My favorite is Call Your Name - I just love the way it starts out kind of mellow, and ramps up to almost crying out at the end. I love that. You guys always surprise us with where the sound is going to go. You are gonna go far!

wow. it started out with a "no" from simon and a golden ticket under his hat. and now look where he has gotten, 2 best-selling albums. who woulda thunk it??? now we know why it took him a while 2 put this album out, and man was it worth it. i love the album, its great.

Everything I was thinking you put into words and a song "No Surprise". God gave me the strength in my heart and you gave me the final push to move on. After almost a life time.....since 3rd grade we have been apart of each others lives. 3 kids and I grandchild later I can finally say I am free from him with no regrets and not looking back.

Chris Daughtry and the entire Daughtry band are sooo amazing amazing and they deserve everything that they have and will get in the near future. i loved EVERY single song on that album and i know every one by heart. i think that when the next album comes out it will be even better than the first 2. but the others were good as well. when the car started to go off the road, his arm came across and held me in my seat, and saved my life.

I have loved Chris since he was on American Idol!! I have always been a fan!!!! I got his very first album && loved it!! Then when i heard his second album came out i was like what!!? haha I went online && started listenin to all your songs,because I was goin to your concert in Toledo!! When i got to the concert i knew almost all the words to every song!!! I was sooooo excited to hear that they were comin to Toledo && when he came out on stage my heart started poundin really fast && i was screamin on the top of my lungs!!! I had my dad's cell phone wavin in the air!! It was the best concert ever && i have loved him even more since the concert on Halloween!!!!! It was a conecrt i will never forget!!!! Daughtry is amazingg!!!! They are a very loving band that goes out beyond puttin on the best concert they do something alot of bands don't do,they go out after the concert when they have been up for 15 hours straight just to greet there fans && take pictures && sign autographs!!!! Well anyways, i am gonna be gettin there new album that is totally amazingg after Christmas or maybe even for Christmas!!!!!!!!! I can't wait!!!!! I love Daughtry!!!!!!!

This album is theeee 1st album in which I can say I like all songs on it. Usually there is at least one song on an album that I don't like. Daughtry is awesome - saw him in Concert last night - What a great time we had.

My husband and I just came back from seeing you for the 2nd time in Atlantic City (for our 6th anniversary) and in Philly. You are just mesmerizing. It was a thorough "ass-whipping." We were so inspired that we went back to our hotel room to write music - something “Daughtry-esque.” We are both songwriters and fell in love through music– I write the catchy hooks and lyrics and he plays a mean guitar, drums, and bass. We rarely agree on music – I’m more Alanis- he’s more Alice in Chains and Stevie Ray Vaughn. It’s funny when you listen to a new album how you get stuck on a song -my favorite is September and Cris’ is Life After You- he loves that F# chord. We have fun trying to figure out your influences – Open Your Eyes- Bryan Adams, Run to You?, Ghost of Me-Don Henley-Boys of Summer? September- Richard Marx – Endless Summer Nights? It’s like going back to the 80s with an edgy, ballsy twist. Your albums are what you call a “drop the needle” – every song on the record is excellent with outstanding musicianship and production. Cris is so happy to finally see the arena-rock scene revived (loved the pyrotechnics), so thank you for that. Our dream would be to co-write a song with you for your next album. If you like, we have we can send called “Along Came an Angel ” You are a true rock superstar!

I love this album--it's definitely the most played on my iPod. Even my four year old daughter recognizes Chris's voice and has since she was about 2 years old--so she was thrilled with this addition to our music collection as well. I've had it since the day it came out and played it every day (many times a day!) since then.

This CD, like the first, is amazing! Although every song is great, my favorite is Tennesee Line. Also, love Life After This, going to be a big hit, has Home potential!! Great work again, can't wait to see some of these songs LIVE!!!
