I have a question. Friends were 10th in line this morning for tickets at the new york state fair grounds ticket office. Ticket agents announces that fan club tickets were sold presale so you couldn't really get the best seats in the house. Well that wasn't true so what was he getting at, that the best seats were already gone. How could that be? Oh, I am not complaining, we ended up in the 3rd row, track, section B, but what happened to the first rows and the center section. Who is buying up the tickets before they go on sale? Went to ticketmaster at 10 a.m. and all that came up were grandstand seats. Now at 12:30 track B, row 16 comes up. What am I not getting? Also, the best seats are on ebay from everywhere but central New York. How does one get in on the best seats in the house? If anyone has an answer I would love to hear it.

How did Daughtry get together?? like i know chris was on american idol but how did the rest of the band get involved with him??

Today is my 10th birthday! And while I was opening my preasents,I found Daughtry tix! My mom says, "We're going in an hour." Since right now I'm in Florida at my Nana and Grandpa's house, I ran to my "Florida" room, stuck my head in the pillow, and screamed at the top of my lungs. I can't believe it, I'm writing this within the hour I have, AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! ...

Can't wait to see the show! It was just luck that we stumbled on the show the day of her birthday! She has already met Chris Daughtry twice when he was in concert in Springfield Mass..maybe the thrid times a charm and we'll get to meet him again!

Anyone that does not know by now.....radio station G105 in raleigh NC’s dj spent 15 minutes non stop stateing every kind of racist native American slang and sterotype I have heard anyone say in one sitting......even went as far as to call the Lumbee tribe inbreds.....it is more stuff than I can type here!!!!

the radio station has a apology posted on their website right now but it is such a short and going no where apology that you can clearly see how it is NOT a apology.

They didn't come to Salt Lake City on their tour. I was brokenhearted. When are they going on tour again- Daughtry only! I like Bon Jovi, but I want Daughtry totally and not as an opening act!!

The symmetry isn't lost on Chris Daughtry.

Two years ago, as an unknown he made his "American Idol" debut with a cover of Bon Jovi's "Wanted, Dead or Alive."

Today, as front man in the rock band that bears his last name, Daughtry's racked up a No. 1 album and a handful of hit singles and Grammy nominations.

Oh, yeah, and the opening slot on Bon Jovi's world tour, which comes to Honda Center in Anaheim Friday and Saturday, and Staples Center in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

"It's kind of weird how that all happened," Daughtry says. "You cover a band, and then you're touring with them. If I'd known it was that easy, I'd have done it years ago, just playing in the bars."

Monday night Daughtry was opening for Bon Jovi at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado.

Unfortuntely, he had to open with many empty seats in the first 20 rows. The Bon Jovi fan club had ticketing issues which prevented most of us from getting to our seats until the last couple of Daughtry songs.

Speaking for myself, I was just excited to be going to the Daughtry show as the Bon Jovi show. Most posts on the Bon Jovi fan club's boards express the same sentiment. Some people have been posting that they hope Daughtry doesn't think we're rude or disrespectful.

Chris and the band will probably never see this post; however, I just wanted him and his fans know that we missed seeing them very very much and apologize for our absence.

I saw on the setlist how Chris was supposed to sing Blaze of Glory with Jon, and, unfortunately, that did not happen. I hope this wasn't cancelled since he thought the Denver fans were unsupportive.

Does anyone know if Daughtry will be performing on Idol gives back? I think the show is next week. I saw Daughtry listed as a special guest,like last year, but last year Chris spoke about the ONE organization. So I am wondering if they might actually perform this year on the show.

David Cook is doing so well, because he is cloning himself as a Chris Daughtry! Hopefully, he won't have the same fate; but, then, that was the best thing ever to happen to Chris!

I think that Rock and Country genres seem to have the most devoted fans long-term. Look at the Stones, U2, Bon Jovi, etc. and of course the numerous country stars. These people have been around for decades. I don't think that pop fans seem to stick around quite as long. I wonder if this has any impact on the idols and their success after idol. It seems some gain a large fanbase outside of AI while others don't.
Do you think it's harder for singers to make it in the pop genre since tastes change frequently?
I know we are lifers and my greatest wish for Daughtry is the same longevity as many of those bands that I mentioned.

It's so sad. I can't believe it. There are no more tickets for your concert in Germany Frankfurt Batschkapp. I waited for so long and now i'm too late. My life makes no sense anymore. I am so sad and dissapointed. I know every song by heart and I would love to see you guys live finally! But I won't....
