I Love Daughtry; However, the sound at the Pacific Ampitheatre was terrible. I ran from section 6 to the VIP. Too many minors! Who won the free tickets/poster by the way?

I loved the concert. This is my 3rd time seeing Chris. First at the AI tour last summer then the first tour date show @ the HOB in Anaheim in Jan and now @ the OC. What was weird for me though was how hype the other two shows compared to the OC show @ the fair last Weds. People around us were not going crazy! I was screaming and shouting the words to every song and I felt so out of place? Stuffy???? I don't know why cause they rocked it! I had great seats. I was in row H in the orchestra section. I thought the middle was the most hype. Too bad I wasn't over there! Anyway, Amazing is all I can say. I missed having them close like @ HOB but I loved having seats and not having to wait hours in line to get close to the stage. Bot experiences were great!

The opening band was a small group from Ohio called Small Town Sleeper. I don't want to take anything away from Chris on his own website, but Small Town Sleeper was great. We actually ran into them at Goat Hill Tavern after the show and shared some beer and good times. Awesome guys and really down to earth.

Now Daughtry was just amazing. Absolutely incredible energy for the entire show...I don't know how many times Chris had to towel off his head from sweating so much, but that's how much energy went into the performance. I have two small complaints...first, the sound guys at Pacific Amphitheater really needed to turn up his mic. There were a couple of songs where I could barely hear him in the beginning. Second...it was too short! I wish he would have sung every song twice just so it would have lasted longer. I guess I'll just have to wait until they release another CD so they have more songs to sing.

I'm going to the Paso Robles show next Saturday and probably the State Fair show up here in Sacramento now. I guess it's going to be a summer of Daughtry concerts Can't wait to see him and Small Town Sleeper again!

What a great show from the opening notes of Crashed to the encore, the show ROCKED. We were about 3/4 of the way up on Brian's side and Chris's voice was spot on. Loved what they did with Crashed at first I didn't recognize the song and then heard Chris singing the words and recognized the tune but the band was playing a different beat....loved it, it rocked, and singing into the megaphone Oh Yeah...

This was my first time to a DAUGHTRY concert and I had a blast. The band was awesome, watching JP JS Brian Joey and Chris on the big screen ahhh made my day. These guys ROCK ... oh yeah.

Thank you for a GREAT SHOW and I know I'll be back to see you guys again.

No pressure guys but I can't wait until you get yourselves into a studio for your next CD.

Also I don't think the opening band was 12 Stones, at the end of their set the singer said their name but I missed it, I know I would have rememberd if he had of said 12 Stones. Can someone confirm the opening bands name?

i got the VIP email on the 17th that said to reply by 5 pm. i did reply by 5 but they said that i hadnt replied in time and i missed the deadline. i dont know what happened maybe it is the time difference or something but i replied at 3:47!!!i have the email as proof! is there anything anyone can do about this? at least send me the poster or something? i went to the box office at the concert and they hadnt gotten any list from daughtryofficial. please, i was waiting from noon till 6 and i didnt get anything! I REPLIED!!!

I am not even 20 yet and I am in love! I remember when Chris first tried out and I flipped because he was amazing adn on the 18th I got to see him live! Ignore the price because this was th emost amazing thing I have ever been to and they sounded better than the cd. I had bad seats but that doesnt matter because I still had an amazing time! Thank You Daughtry for making my day amazing I will never forget that concert!

I looked forward to the Daughtry concert on July 18, 2007 at the Pacific Ampitheater. The opening act, 12 Stones, was very good. Their puts one in the mind of Pearl Jam with a bit of Third Eye Blind thrown in for good measure. Included in their set was a decent cover of "She's Got The Look" and when they left the stage, the crowd was ready to hear Daughtry. However, the crowd would have to wait for over an hour, without explanation, before the headline act arrived.

Daughtry was in rare form when they took the stage at 8:40PM. Their live performance was excellent. I appreciated the quiet but passionate acoustic version of "Black Days." Without much fanfare, it exemplified Chris Daughtry's prisine, rich, resonate vocal range. "It's Not Over" and "Home" were well received by the crowd. I personally did not find "What About Now?" sappy, despite Chris' apology to the audience. However, after about seven songs and a single encore, the lights came up. My friend and I were left wondering, "Is that all there is?" A quick check of the time showed that it was 9:35PM. As a fan, I felt that we deserved more. Had their been more, I would have ranked this performance much higher.

OMGosh thee concert was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After the Anaheim HOB show I never thought You guys could top your first concert, but i guess you proved me wrong. I am happy to say i have no voice left after the concert , because your songs are awesome and i had to sing along. Thank you! Thank you! THANK YOU for the amazing concert and i will definatly be back to see you again! Please come back to So Cal again and i will be there!

This concert was so UNBELIEVABLE! Chris and his band went over and above all expectations! I am speechless! My only disappointment is not getting those front row tickets which would have been worth any cost! Spend your last dollar for the best tickets in the house! You won't regret it!

Oh my gosh!!....the concert was more than wonderful, I can;t even express how fantastic it was! It was the best night of my life. My mom and I had sooo much fun. We bought our tickets in May and it was a long wait!! It was worth the 2 month wait and worth sitting through the opening band....I was so happy when you guys came on stage! It was SOOOOO entertaining. I went to the American Idol concert last year and you told us that you had an album coming out and you were going to set up a tour....you kept your promise and you didn't disappoint. I gave the AI concert a 10 out of 10 last year because of YOU but this concert gets a 1 million out of 10!!!! You are all so talented. You deserve all of your success, Chris! You are my favorite band and I know every word to every song on your record. The record is amazing. You did a great job on writing such beautiful songs, especially Home. Congratulations on all of your success and award nominations!! Hopefully you come back to Southern California again so I can see my favorite band, and best band, live again!! I probably already missed the deadline, but thought I would give it a try. I have been a huge fan of Chris since the audition at idol, and am so thrilled with the success he has had (I hope he exceeds all previous idol and idol runner ups). I was originally scheduled to be out of town for the Costa Mesa event, so I did not buy tickets with all of my friends that are going. My plans were suddenly cancelled this week and when I looked online for tickets, there are only seats with no view of the stage. My heart is broken!!!

I would love to be there and it doesnt look like there are any Los Angeles area venues in the future... PLEASE HELP!

I would be honored to be VIP at a Daughtry concert; I have followed your awesome music from the begining.

After not too much thought, I purchased two tickets to your Costa Mesa concert; one for me and one for your biggest fan, my 9 year old daughter! Last year, when you were touring with AI we were unable to see you because we were on a family vacation. Consoling us both was not an easy endeavor. Imagine my excitement upon finding out that you were going to be in our back yard come July 18th. Although I'm not sure that a concert is anyplace for my 9 year old, what kind of mother would I be if I didn't bring her to see you. I'm not kidding when I say that she's your number one fan. And, since she's so young, I think you'll probably have a fan for a very long time!

We can't wait to see you! And, just so you know, I am so glad that you didn't win AI because you would have been unable to be true to yourself and your music and that would have been a detriment to all of your adoring fans. You are who you are and who you are is someone that rocks!!!

I can not wait. I'm dying to go. It cant come any sooner. My sister is pregnant and is having my nephew the day before the concert. I feel soooo blessed. Two wonderful things at one time. I think this will make my extremely horrible year finally start looking bright! Thanks boys......

Hi Chris! I too have been rooting for you since your days on Idol, and was EXTREMELY upset when you left. I knew that you would be successful anyway! I also think that you're an incredible person for marrying a woman with children and loving them as your own, just as my husband (also named Chris) did with me and my oldest child. My two young daughters (9 and 4) and I listen to your CD every day; it's so cute to hear them sing along. We've been planning a trip to CA in July, so when I checked your website and saw that you'll be in Costa Mesa on the day we're planning to drive from Anaheim to San Diego we flipped! My girls just started jumping up and down screaming. My four year old said she wants to give you a hug, but not a kiss! I thought that was adorable. I had hoped to attend your show in Lubbock, but the tickets were sold out. I've checked into getting tickets for the OC Fair and apparently the good seats have already been purchased. If there was any way for my girls to meet you or see you close up it would make their whole vacation, and we're even going to Disneyland! LOL.....
