I was going to wait until I got to see the band and get to know ya before blogging etc (which is new to me also!)
I hated to hear that you are leaving and wanted to wish you much luck and success in life. Being 38 and prefer the rock of the 80's my teenage daughter will not take my word on the fact my music is much better than hers! When I got the Daughtry cd she had no interest in listening....I put it on she puts her headphones on to her Ipod. During our car ride--she picks up the daughtry cd and looks through it ---commenting that the guys looked pretty good. She asked about you thinking you were the hottest. So, the Ipod was shut off and she decides to listen to the cd....next, she is singing along reading the words provided! She agreed that is was pretty damn good!
I went out and bought her friends each a cd......her first comment was --youll like it the hot guy got me hooked....which of course was you.
Thanks she trusted your looks over my opinion:)

Dear Chris and Band,

I just wanted to thank you very much for performing for us at the House of Blues, you were spine-tingling! You guys can really play the guitar; the notes were so crisp and the song so articulate. Josh, awesome job with that Gibson; man you can play. I myself play the guitar, but I still strive to hit the notes you do on that masterpiece. Jeremy, you did an outstanding job with the guitar and with your vocals: very smooth and mild. Chris, your voice is so unique and mellow. The song "Home" was very inspiring; you truly are a prodigy. I appreciate the fact that you guys are performing in local clubs; as you said, it makes the experience much more up close and personal for all of your fans. One thing that my Mom and I admire about you is your personality: you are a very humble person; along with your self-effacing attitude, you are very "down to earth". You are going to go soo far in your career and all of your fans will be with you every step of the way.

I also wanted to mention something about your visit to Chicago: Do you remember the person who asked you to sign their pillowcase? My Mom said, “I sleep with it every night.” (She was just kidding) You replied, "Whoa, that's scary" in a humorous way. Well, that gal was my Mom. I believe Josh started to laugh as he overheard your conversation with her. Very funny stuff... I wish I could have gotten my guitar signed by all of you; that truly would have been awesome. But, there still is the Double Door. Let me know if I can get it signed. I'll tell my mom to bring it. (Since it’s only 21& over)

Chris, I have never written to one of these sights before, but could not help but say a few words. "It's not over" played on the car radio a few weeks ago, and blew me away! I loved it. Found out it was you - and yes you proved that you should have won Idol. I even voted for you (I'm 45 years old & my children were laughing at me for calling:) When you sang with Shinedown? (or whoever) on stage - I thought you out-performed him. Great voice. (And can actually sing)

Anyway, Keep up with the good work, but don't forget your family - time goes by so fast! You could end up looking back and ask where did the time go, then your kids are grown up! Make life count and keep up the excellent work!

i saw where people were writing you about coming to bayfest..well my husband and i are stationed there and i can tell u first hand that it's DEF good times! my husband is also one of the returning soliders coming home in april/may...so hopefully u will think about coming and preforming for all of our men and women who have been working so hard in iraq and on base...it truelly would be great to see u there! Chris, my husband and I watched you on Idol,fell in love with your singing and performance.I seen your CD, Daughtry on TV around the holidays and instantly bought it for my husband for Christmas. I listen to it every time I get into our truck. You have really perfective your voice with your music. We were so upset when you didn'[t win Idol. When I listen to the CD, it makes me think you have put your heart,body and soul into the words and music. My husband and I have been married 24 years in March and have never been to a concert together. We both agree that we would travel to New York for your concert. We do not believe that you would ever travel to our area which is Maryland Eastern Shore. The top singers and groups that we like, do not come here because We are not a Metropolitian area.We really hope to see you in Concert in a nearby area.Thank you for coming alive for the World to hear.

Ok, i've been in awe of Chris since i saw him in his cute little cowboy on American Idol. I got goosebumps when i heard him sing. I cried when he got cut. But , then i smiled when i saw his sexy self on VH1. The album is awesome. I love it. You guys rock.

Hey Jeremy....you guys were totally amazing at the Viper Room, I felt honoured to be there in such an intimate setting to see you play. It was well worth the 11 hour flight from the UK....and I would do it all again!! You all soung so amazing together....I have followed Chris throughout AI and beyond....this is the start of something fabulous for you all......and I cant wait for you to hit the UK....it will never be the same!!
I did get to have a quick chat with you and a wonderful hug at the Viper Room..I even have photographic evidence!!! Perfect smiles all round!!!!!
As I said to you that night...you really have to come to the UK and you know you have an open invitation to come here!!!
I wish I could say I will see you again soon......not sure I will get back to the States for some time !! Never say Never though......I may just be in an audience again one day!!!!

Jeremy, you guys rocked the VR. I was "far" from the front of the stage (about 4 people deep!) and the energy in the room was amazing. You were great, and I'm loving hearing your vocals on the songs. Thanks for coming out to meet us after the show - I got a "just Jeremy" pic - and you posed for the "self portrait" shot too! I can't believe I missed Ed K?!
