We were so excited to be seeing Daughtry last night, and you guys were GREAT. I also thought Cinder Road and Eve to Adam did a fantastic job of getting the crowd warmed up and ready to go - lots of talent up on that stage!! The only thing that left something to be desired was the venue. Although it was up close and personal, it was really hot as all get out in that place, and the crowd pushing toward the stage made it hard to breath and enjoy. My friend nearly passed out and wound up heading toward the back of the room before Daughtry even made it on stage (which turned out just fine because they could actually see better over the crowd from back there). I got through 3 songs from my spot 10 rows back and center stage before my hubby and I made our way to the back as well - just too hot and claustrophobic to stay put. Once we got to the back, it was fine - much cooler and there was air!! I think it was great to be so close to the stage from anywhere in the place, and it's not any kind of complaint against the band - we were just disappointed in the Loft's lack of air or circulation that would have made it a lot more enjoyable. (Plus hell, I'm a short chick! Tough to see over everyone when the floor is level.) All in all though - great performance, great show, and we had a lot of fun!! Can't wait to hear more from Daughtry and from Cinder Road and Eve to Adam! Thanks guys!!!! xoxoxo
