Well, I have to admit, i used to listen to rap, but I have listened to nothing but you since that amazing day i bought your CD. I honestly, would have given my last dollar to buy it. It was worth every penny and tons more. I love it and I can't wait to see what you and the guys are gonna do next. Your voice has brought tears to my eyes and chills through my bones. That has never happened to me before. Now that is a true musician, an artist who can do that has talent that can only be described in the context of "a miracle".
I asked for your CD for Christmas, a co-worker got it for me as a secret santa gift. Before I could listen to it Christmas eve I took to our family gathering, unfortunately we did not play it . On accident left it on my cousins entertainment center and realized after we got home! Called numerous times begging her to mail it........she never did!!!! Too far to drive! I missed out on your Dallas tickets when they went up for sale but paid a oulandish amount on ebay and got to go to your show this past Monday, got even luckier and won tickets to the meet and greet from Kiss FM, so saw you 2X. I ran out before the concert and bought the CD again so I could get it autographed and so I could learn all of your songs. I did not get it autographed or got to meet you but I was on the front rail for both the meet & greet acoustic as well as the main concert. Your voice riveted through me during the concert and I can not get Monday night off my mind...I work a graveyard shift and had to be at work the same night of the concert and I have been buzzed all week. I can not say enough how AWESOME you and the band are and that I am 38 but look younger than that and I have a 16 year old girl crush on you like most women we feel like your wife is D**N lucky to have you. Even though your stage set was frustrating to you and you were sick that night your voice was piercing to me. I hope you never stop writing and performing. I am looking forward to ticket info for the Addison Texas show that has been newly listed as pending. I can not wait till then I will be there if at all in my power, I have always been a rocker and have been to plenty of concerts from ACDC to Metallica and Def Leppard multiple times.........I hope you take this as a compliment from a middle age rocker........THE DALLAS CONCERT WAS THE BEST CONCERT I HAVE EVER BEEN TO IN MY LIFE! I can not remember a concert I have enjoyed more than this!! I rocked with you every week with my family watching American Idol, voted 4 u every week and truthfully not winning was a gift for you...you are worth more than being tied into all that and can express your music more freely not being looped into it, but thank God for them and showing you off to AMERICA!! Although I've been watching Idol since Season 1 and there have been many great artists to come from the show, yours is the first CD I felt compelled to buy. I loved your voice and your originality on the show and was looking forward to getting your debut CD as soon as it was released. And, it didn't disappoint! I totally love it. I have several favorite tracks inlcuding "Home" and "It's Not Over", but my top favorite is "What About Now." I wish you continued success and look forward to more DAUGHTRY CDs in the future.
