Ok..I absolutely adore Daughtry...but 3 opening acts when the doors opened at 8pm on a Sunday night? That's insane...and to beat it all, the meet/greet you could take pictures of the guys, but you couldn't pose with them...We paid $95 per ticket 4 minutes after they went on sale. To beat it all, Daughtry rushed through the set. He was done. I drove to Knoxville from Chattanooga to see him live and to meet him. But after the show, there were a few of us groupies hangin out by their bus. The band members were out there hangin out, meeting the fans that stuck around after the show. There was a total of maybe 50 of us..They posed for pictures, signed a few autographs, it was great. Where was Chris? It was like a waiting game for him to see how many fans would clear out so he could get to his bus without being ransacked. The few of us that were out there were very laid back, just anxious to see if we could get up close and personal with Chris and the guys just for a minute. We waited over 2 hours after the show just to see if we could sneak a peek. We left. I just hope that this isn't the start of him losing his down to earth personality and his appreciation for his fans. Like he has said the whole time, it is because of his fans he is where he is now. He is scheduled to be in Chattanooga June 9 @ the Riverbend festival. This will probably be the biggest crowd. On any given festival night, there are over 115,000 people there..Chris, please don't forget who you are. I am so fond of your music, your style, everything. Don't let this business suck you in like it has just about everyone......
