OMG! Daughtry was awesome. I got shown on the big tv thing twice becuase I was sitting on a rail that ran through the middle of the audience. I was also very close to the stage and wtached Chris is awe because is is rather fun to look at. I had a total blast, the band put on such a good show.

My 3 boys and I loved it!!!!! We were 2nd and 3rd rows and had a blast rockin' with you guys! I just hated that my pics were all blurry. Chris, you were lookin' HOTT!

did anyone eat at texas de brazil while you were in addison?? omigosh, the only thing that could have made that place better is if chris and the boys were running around with skewers throwing their meat at me from every corner of the table............nummy nummy!!

Saw the show from a rooftop next to the festivities. Daughtry ROCKED!!!! We felt so lucky to be up there. The stage was surrounded by a sea of people. We were able to tailgate and see the show. The stage and both jumbotrons were in clearview.

I have been addicted to the CD since its release. The live show was so much better! The cover of Black (a Pearl Jam song) was so awesome.

Had a great time! Can't wait to see Daughtry again!!!!

Thats the first concert I've been to in a long time, and Chris ROCKED!!! The only bad thing for me is that I'm in a wheelchair and didnt get there in time to get up front so as soon as Chris came out and started singing, everybody stood up so the only way I could see was to be held up. I'm glad I had people there to hold me up cause I wouldnt have been able to see anything. But the concert Rocked, I had more fun than I've had in a long time. But I was kinda disappointed that I didnt get to stay long enough to see if Chris was gonna sign autographs and have pics. taken with fans, like hes done in the past at other concerts. Oh well, maybe next time. Did anybody get autographs and pics. with him at the addison concert? And I did read about that little girl that was so upset, man, I feel so sorry for her. That must've been so disappointing. But I dont think Chris would've purposely broken a promise like that, something must've come up that he could'nt have helped. But I hope she gets to meet him sometime since she was so disappointed. Oh and man, I am SO glad Chris sang my fav. song. That was so cool!!! You Rock Chris!!!! Hope to see you again

one thing i have learned in life...one of many things...but nonetheless, one thing i have learned in life is to NOT JUMP TO CONCLUSION....there may be a valid reason why chris did not meet with the girl!! i don't think i will be alone when i say that all of the positive, thoughtful and caring things that chris has gone out of his way to do for his fans will WAY far outweigh this seemingly negative incident.

As a DAUGHTRY fan, i will always offer those guys the benefit of the doubt. i have seen them interact with their fans...with my own child, and i have also seen the 'manager's' immediate and authoritative influence over Chris's interaction with fans. there is no doubt in my mind that if chris told the girl he would be there, he meant it. now, i cannot speak for whatever may have prevented him from being there, but come on...is it really fair to pass such harsh judgement on him for this? maybe if it was the girl and ONLY the girl...((and maybe a parent or two))...and not everyone that had a hunch that he would come out, then he would have been there. i am pretty sure i saw what you were talking about, and it was not one or two fans waiting.... you know, there were a couple of shows were he did not come out to meet anyone after the show, presumably because he was sick. i am sure there is a certain degree of risk involved in interacting with fans. chris's voice is his money...his family's well being. so, another explanation is that he may have been willing to meet the SINGLE fan that he promised to meet, but when he saw others waiting, it was no longer an option, as instead of meeting a single fan, he would be mobbed by a group of fans...and their germs. ((just making a point that we should not judge his absence, i mean heck, maybe he just forgot!!! lord knows i have made promises that i have forgotten))

and on the show...it ABSOLUTELY ROCKED!! there were definitely some acoustic type issues, but we cant hold that against the guys, i mean, this type of outdoor event does not exactly allow for a bonafide sound check!

i am sorry, but i find it a waste of space on this message board to present a negative critique of the show. somehow, i have a hard time believing that i would ever come here to post a negative comment about this man or his band!!!

now, on the trash, that is a point i can agree with you on!! typically i really would not care, i mean, i clean up my own trash, but i dont lose any sleep over the mess left by others. but typically, you are going to dish out quite a few bucks to see the band, and heck ya, someone can cater to your needs and pick up the 8 oz cup that held the $8 beer. BUT THIS SHOW WAS DIFFERENT!! we paid a whopping $5-$10 bucks to get in, and this really seemed like an event that utilized volunteers for things such as cleaning. folks certainly should have been more considerate and picked up after themselves!!!!

ok, so now i feel like i was getting too offensive about your posts. i really did not intend it to sound like an attack. daughtry love will always rule here, i just wanted to make sure that chris gets the benefit of the doubt, all of his good outweighs the unfortunate events like the little girl being disappointed.

I saw Chris In Abilene and he was great...This time he seemed like a totally different person, he didnt sound as good either maybe because he is singing so much these days. I did see him give a girl his sweat rag and said he would meet her at the gate by the stage to sign it after the concert. I went over there after the show and the girl waited and waited and Chris didnt show up and she was so upset and crying (she was only 13 though) but I did see him tell her that...He never showed we waited forever and the security guy told us they already left...I felt so bad for her....I am a Daughtry Fan but was sad to see that. Also I was upset at seeing all the trash that was left after the concert. Since we stayed after the fact and waited so long I saw alot of trash and felt bad for the people who had to spend all night cleaning it up. So it would nice if we did our part at concerts to help lessen the cleaning load on the staff...

Im glad everyone had a great time!

I won a meet and greet thru the local radio station and had a chance to meet them.
It was AMAZING. For anyone who is lucky enough to meet them, they are the nicest group of guys I have ever meet. I went with my 8yr old son who cried when Chris got voted off AI.
Chris and the rest of the band were extemely nice to him, When we left the M&G my son was on cloud nine. The guys are awesome.
They totally rocked at the concert. My son sang and pumped his fist the whole entire concert while standing on his chair. I guess he gets that from me.
I hope that you guys come back to Texas soon or somewhere close to us.
I can't say thank you enough to the band and the radio station for making a dream come true.

The show the guys put on last night soooooo made it worth the heat, rain ,sweat and 4 hour trip. We secured our positions up front around 5:45 pm(Much to Roni's despair...I think she wanted to get our spots around 3pm....lol) When Daughtry took the stage, everyone went wild!! Chris sang from the bottom of his Soul and the guys played their hearts out. There was a little girl(around 6 or 7yrs. old) on her Dad's shoulders, arms in the air and totally rockin out....it was great!!! Chris covered an old Pearl Jam song "Black" that was absolutely awesome. The crowd sang along to every song the guys played. This was our second show, and I have to say ...they just keep getting better and better. We can't wait for the guys to come back to TX!!!!

P.S. Roni thanks for making Addison happen....I NUB ya gurl!!!!

First time for us to see Daughtry live. Ya'll were great!!! Amazing opening with "crashed" got all of us fired up. Was extremely impressed with cover of "Black." It's not over was the bomb, Home was perfect closer. and haven't headbanged that hard in years for the finale... also for those few that stayed for Lifehouse Chris came out to sing Hanging by a moment and did great! Only time the crowd was really into it for lifehouse. Hope ya'll can do something bigger next year. You deserve everything you get brother, God bless!

WOW!! What Can I say?!! AWESOME show!! We got there super early and were right in front of stage as well! They came out rockin' and never stopped! We were crushed as well the whole time once they took stage. I even ended up with some screaming fan's gum in my hair who was glued to me from behind! -Uugh! So worth it though! LOL There were a few bands playing before Daughtry, but even they knew that Chris was the draw! They kept trying to pump up the crowd by making comments like, "I saw daughtry back stage with his shirt off!..." etc... I came SOOOOOO close to getting to touch his hand but my daughter inched me out and got to instead! Oh well.. Atleast one of us got too! I can't wait for them to come back to the Dallas area either! They left us wanting more!! Nothing but BIG things are coming their way!!! Wow! AMAZING! That's all I can say!

That was the best concert ever. Me and two of my friends got there at noon and stay there All day just to make sure we had front row. The girls beside us were so nice they were from Austin THANKS, YOU GUYS ROCK!!! I have seen Daughtry in concert two other times before last night. Last night was by far the best!!! The boys were FABULOUS last night! When the show started off and he sang 'Crashed' I was totally over the multiple hour wait in a very sweaty, cramped atmosphere (We were right up front.) Chris' voice was AMAZING and they were all really getting into it and getting the crowd going. The band was having fun and it just really elevated the already hyped atmosphere.

One of my favorite songs of the night was probably Breakdown. Chris also sang an old Pearl Jam song and practically the entire daughtry CD. Best 5 bucks I ever spent but after seeing that I'd pay hundreds to go again.

Wow - Missed the last time Daughtry was here in Dallas area. Show was completely sold out ! Glad I checked the website last week to see when he was coming back to town. Saw him tonite and the show was awesome ! Chris performed a Pearl Jam song - cant remember the name of it, but also one of my fav Pearl Jam songs. Sheets of empty canvas---under sheets of clay -- thats the first line of the song. Anyway, what an incredible show. Band played their hearts out and Chris gave it all to the crowd. Hopefully he was overwhelmed by the size of the audience and the feedback we gave. It was basically a "free" show, and lemme tell ya - LOTS of people there in the crowd, and LOTS of people knew the words when the audience was left to sing them. If you were there, you know what Im talking about. With that showing of support from the crowd, I can only hope that the band remembers us and comes back to Dallas again (on next tour leg, or on their next tour) in a bigger venue - say Nokia Theater?
Thanks for the great show guys, and thanks for all that showed up and gave support to the band. It should bode well for the next time they are in town.

Concert was first, for me, in a long time. You guys did not disappoint.

Wish I'd gotten pictures of my son, Logan's first concert. He was on shoulders beating my head to the beat. That clinched it for me. The show was awesome.

What more can I say....i'm celebrating Mothers Day on Saturday and I can't imagine a more perfect way! As a pro chef the food is my life, and as an avid Daughtry fan the music is my passion and going with my man and daughter...well life, passion, love....its all said!
