Hey! I live in Lakeland and am 28...I think we might know eachother from High school. I went to 3 concerts here in this area (Orlando, RockFest, and St. Pete). Congrats on the VIP--I am a huge Daughtry fan...you could have taken me! LOL Sorry to hear your experience was not the best. Daughtry rocks though, and they are so amazing!

I was right up squished in the front (sort of row.) We all crushed together. I was the long blonde haired girl with the light blue low cut shirt which ended being a wet t-shirt by the end of the night with the water spraying!! It was amazing. You ROCK Chris. I was glad I spend $120.00 for a ticket. What a great performance. You and the whole band have great stage presence. You are going to be legendary. Keep up all the hard work it is paying off. Stay true to your values and family. The road has a way of changing people. Don't let it change you. Your devotion to your wife and kids is what makes you sexy!! Well the sunglasses, eyeliner and eyebrows are hot too!! Only issue of the night were security standing in our way during your concert. I was hoping for a shot of you with me after the show but the only band outside was Cinder Road and they were awesome! The blinding light in the front was annoying but I got some great pics of you! Thanks again for rocking my night!!

The show was great last night. I was one of the crazy ones that had been sitting there since 10am at the front door. It was a 3 hour drive that we made in 1 1/2 hours. I had the "Mrs. Daughtry" shirt on!! As Prettyinpink (VIP winner) said, Joey was outside. I do believe that his nice little cheek shot was directed at us girls up front by the door. We had been talking to him and Josh Steely earlier in the day. They were actually very nice and approachable. They signed our CDs and took several pictures with us. The guys from Cinder Road just amazed me. They were in and out the front doors all day long setting things up. They too were very approachable and took pictures before the show. I couldnt understand any of the vocals from them or Day of Fire. But I bought Cinder Roads' CD after the show and all signed it. All in all, it was a great show. Chris just amazes me.

To everyone involved with Daughtry, thanks for playing at Freebird Live and the amazing show last night. Although I am sure you are and will be playing much larger venues, to me Freebird is the best venue there is. Just a stage and room to stand and great music. We stood in line for over an hour just to get in but it was more than worth it.
People had flown in from all over the country for this show. Chris comes out all tough and looking unapproachable to begin but within the first few songs it was like we had all been doing this together for years...
I was inclined to like Chris and his band from his Idol experience, but when I heard the cd I was blown away. I told the lead singer from one of the opening bands that I could not remember the last time I had heard such good, hard rock and I hadn't realized how much I had missed it.
Amazing concert, from all out crazy with the band to just Chris and his guitar.
I am looking forward to your next trip to Jacksonville.

I saw you guys twice & both times called my best friend in New Jersey so she could listen (& might I add thru the end at both shows!). She is flying down to tampa so we can drive to the show and we almost did not have tickets bc our order was cancelled, yet no one told us! So we found someone online but had to pay a ridiculous amount and have them over-nighted from Canada! All worth it though since we finally see the concert together in person!
