Went to Vegas to see Bon Jovi but became an instant fan of Daughtry, GREAT performance.

Going to Vegas to see Daughtry was a huge investment (my husband and I are school teachers), but it was worth it. This was our second Daughtry concert and it was depressing only getting to see the band perform for such a short amount of time. We left the concert talking about how we had seen Daughtry just a couple of months before in Phoenix and how the band went from playing a small club to playing in Vegas, opening for Bon Jovi. What a dream come true for you guys! I won't lie, I had hopes that Bon Jovi would have Chris come out on stage and sing "Wanted: Dead or Alive" with them, but I guess we will just have to settle for the amazing rendition that you did on American Idol. I wish we were as lucky as some other fans to have had VIP passes or close enough to have gotten such nice pictures, but like you, it was a dream come true for us to see you guys up there performing with Bon Jovi!

Of course, I would have loved for Daughtry to have done a complete set, but I was not entirely surprised that they did only 6 songs. I had been invited to TJ when it was only BonJovi performing, so seeing the band added was an exciting and delicious bonus. I felt sad when I saw Chris performing to a half empty arena, with people casually strolling in to their seats, and him not even up on the giant screen. But then I changed my mindset. This was an extremely prestigious event for them. To be the opening act for BJ and part of the Tiger Jam Charity weekend is really unbelievable for a new band. I'm sure the guys were well aware that the majority of the people were there to see BJ. Most tickets were sold well before Daughtry joined the bill. Chris was excited to be there and said so from the stage. Naturally, they rocked out. Short but sweet!!! When BJ started to perform, I thought, wow, this is where Daughtry will be after a bigger body of work and many awards!!!! I totally, completely, enjoyed the BJ concert. I hope to see Daughtry many more times, but I won't ever see BonJovi again. Jon was completely at ease in talking to and engaging the audience. This is what I want for Chris. I believe he will hone his already considerable skills and will become more conversational as his comfort level with large crowds grow. As we all know, Chris is special, and this past year has been a glorious start to an enduring career.

I was fortunate enough to be a VIP Tiger Jam guest. I was so overwhelmed with excitement when it was learned that DAUGHTRY was going to open for Bon Jovi. Even though DAUGHTRY only got to be on for 30 minutes it was 30 minutes of sheer ROCK and the best 30 minutes anyone could experience. I was on a 'high' because I'd just won the DAUGHTRY signed electric guitar in the silent auction being held for Tiger Woods Foundation. I look at it as an investment in my grandchildrens future. AWESOME SHOW! I was SOOO PROUD for Chris and Daughtry opening up for Bon Jovi. Like Chris said HE NEVER THOUGHT at the AGE OF 27 he would be opening for BON JOVI!
I am a BON JOVI FANATIC so to have DAUGHTRY on the bill is an EXTRA BONUS!

I am so excited to be able to see Chris in concert this coming Saturday in Vegas!!!!!

I voted over 100x on idol, would LOVE to see Chris and his band, make a dream come true!!!!!

I live in Las Vegas and my husband and I actually work for the company who does the security and ushering services at Mandalay Bay. (We will be the cool people in the bright yellow jackets that you'll see everywhere) haha Anyways, we will be backstage before and after the show. It would be an absolute honor if my husband and I could meet you. Even just to say hi!! We both absolutely love you & picked to work your show over the Chuck Liddell UFC fight that is in town that weekend!!!

Chris, you were so awesome in Sacramento, CA. We were so close to you, so to be a VIP next time would be the chance of a lifetime ! My husband & I thought your concert was the best we've ever been to & we are in our forties, so we've been to many!! We listen to you everyday. We took some amazing up close pictures of you in Sacto & have them hanging in our bar now. Oh yeah, and if you heard, I was the crazy fan who spent $400.00 on e-bay to get tickets for the Sacto show !! I had to, there were none available any where else. Please pick us!!!!
