I am a fan (and you should be too), because...I cannot remember the last time I loved every song on an album. Chris has done such an amazing job of creating songs that tells stories we can all relate to. The first time I listened to "Over You" I thought the song had been written just for me. Thanks, Chris, for writing that beautiful song. With your help my heart has finally healed. The entire album has be an inspiration to me. I listen to "Home" whenever going back to my hometown to visit my loving family and friends. But "There And Back Again" is my all time favorite.
I am thankful for his desision to "do his own thing". Now the whole world can see just how wonderful he is. Chris is not only an outstanding singer but also a talented songwriter. Now...isn't that how a great artist is created? He is real and honest and it shows in his work. Chris has remained humble and that in itself is appealing. Of course, it never hurts to be easy on the eyes.
Chris has also done an amazing job of hand picking the perfect band. The chemistry the band portrays on stage is incredible. These four guys must be very talented musicans or they would not be part of the band. Daughtry would not be complete with out them.
Take a moment to read Chris' "thanks to" on the ablum. It made me cry. I was touch by his devotion as a husband, father, son, brother, brother-in-law and friend. I have great respect for a man whom has opened his heart to children not biologically related and raised them as his own.
Chris as shown so much integerity in his work; never compromising himself or his beliefs. Last year was my "first" watching American Idol and Chris was my favorite from the start. Although his unexpected exit from AI put him at #5, he has remained #1 with me. Chris has proven himself a winner. Daughtry will no doubt continue with much success. I cannot wait to see what they do next.
