I am a fan (and you should be too), because...From a debut album loaded with great songs whose clever lyrics connect to so many parts of life, to four stand-up, talented guys who are incredibly outgoing, and an amazingly talented and charismatic front man with versatile vocals and killer good looks who has been a great role model in the way that he reaches for his dreams yet stays grounded as a family man, what more could you want?? Daughtry has taken the world by storm through their songs that have gotten everyone singing along and relating to and their engaging performances. They have everything you could ask for in a rock band.

Chris's story truly touched me from the first moment he appeared on Idol. His ultimate goal was to do what he loves and share his music with the world. He took any steps necessary to achieve his aspirations and when things didn't seem to go his way, he worked with his situation and has acquired even more fame and success than he could imagine. I am a high school math teacher at an inner city school...my students have not had opportunities that other students their age have had, but I feel that it's important to encourage them and show them that dreams can come true if you're persistent and work toward goals you set for yourself. I often refer to Chris's story to encourage classes, which works out great because the girls love him and the boys want to be him. I love that he has remained such an excellent role model and has joined forces with four other talented men that represent themselves so well.

As a Daughtry fan, I am personally proud of their successes and wish them many more. I get incredibly excited every time a performance is aired on television or I hear a Daughtry song on the radio...it just makes me feel good to see their successes. Everyone who knows me knows that I am a huge Daughtry supporter and has become intrigued by the band that plays a large role in my life. I hope they continue reaching fans, sending great messages, and I hope to see them on tour!!
