I am a fan (and you should be too), because...

"Daughtry" has brought back the word 'respect’ to the music world.

In this day and age when you are reading daily about young celebrities partying into the night, getting into fights, DUI's, shaving their heads and just in general, not behaving with much moral fiber, along comes Chris Daughtry.

With an amazing voice & incredible stage presence on AI #5, America was hooked. We were drawn into Chris’ personality through all the short interviews on AI with he and his family. Whether he knew it or not, Chris was fast becoming a role model & inspiration for today's youth. Then when Chris was not voted through... America cried. But we knew he would still have a great career someday. And guess what… his ‘someday’ is here!

Staying true to himself, Chris formed a new band, and he kept that family “feeling” and did not focus on himself as a soloist. He released an amazing CD. A great rock album with incredible quality… words with meaning. Words that do not need to be censored when my 10 yr. old son is listening. How many rock albums can brag about that? Every song touches your heart. "Daughtry" has made a strong impact on the music world in a very short time. And they did it their way. “Daughtry” has touched the hearts of millions… double platinum to be exact… !

After purchasing several CDs, I then became a member of "Daughtry Official" website, and wow! I've made the most wonderful friends. I was not expecting this. I loved the music and joined this site to learn more about the band and the tours. I never dreamed I would make friends along the way. I discovered that not only does "Daughtry" have respect for their music, and their families but they also respect their fans. The band and the people responsible for this website have listened to praise and criticism, and have responded in an incredibly positive manner. The band members actually write personal messages to the fans thanking them for their support. Wow! So, the fans respond... look at the weekly voting on VH1 & MTV... look at all of the "Sold Out" concerts... look at the increase in sales on the charts! We love & support "Daughtry". But most importantly, we respect them. I've never joined a fan club... this was the first band and the first fansite to inspire me to do so. It is a total class act.

Everyone should be a fan because “Daughtry” is a great example of what happens when you hold true to your values. It is so rare these days to have positive role models. And here is one that chooses to share their talent and their personal lives with the millions of fans they have. Unbelievable. Yes, I am a fan… and I will be for my lifetime. Thank you, for allowing me be a member of a fantastic family & fan club.
