Time of My Life

I loved the concert. I almost passed out when Chris touched my hand. I was holding a sign that said "It's Not Over til Daughtry Sings". He read it and nodded his head to let me know that he read it. That's not all the excitement. After the concert my mom, my aunt, my friend Ashley and I went back to where the buses were parked. I saw Joey and told him I blew him a kiss during the concert (I was at the stage) and he could have blow me one back. He said instead I will give you one now and he reach over and gave me a kiss on the check. I went down to the ground crying. Joey reached down and picked me up from the ground and just gave me a big hug. He kept asking me are you sure you are alright. After I had calmed down I told Joey that I needed a refresher and he kissed me again. That MADE my night. I went back to school and showed off my pic of him hugging me. Everyone was so jealuos of me.

P.S. I want to meet the whole band.

AWESOME show!!! DAUGHTRY has resurrected ROCK! And Myrtle Beach was the proof. I've been to more rock concerts than I can count over the years, but this was my favorite, hands down. Don't know who was rocking who, DAUGHTRY or the fans! They nearly drowned out the band with their enthusiasm! Reminded me of the Beatles back in their heyday. Some of the people there probably saw the Beatles back then. Just more proof that DAUGHTRY has revived rock. How many new bands can say they draw the 'original rockers' to their shows? I saw all ages represented, from 6 to 60, all of them rocking. There were eleven of us that drove 8 hours one way for this show and our age ranges were 51, 39, 35, 21, 20, 19, 18, 18, 16, 13, 9 and we are all die- hard DAUGHTRY fans! We were not disappointed. It was well worth the trip, the biker traffic and the fortune it cost, but I'd do it again and then some for another show like Myrtle Beach. It was totally awesome!!! If you don't believe me, ask DAUGHTRY!!!

I gotta hand it to you guys. You guys just rocked the house. You guys are my first ROCK concert for me. You guys really know how to entertain. You guys are AWESOME! I can't wait to see you live again. Hurry back to Myrtle Beach. I know I will buy these tickets again. It was definately money well spent. During the entire concert, I kept saying to myself I can't believe I am watching my favorite artists live!

We drove from Greensboro NC 4 hours to see Chris and the band. The show was great. I took my son who's 11. We were shocked by the crowd, the HOB holds 2000. We were upstairs hoping to get a place where my son could see Chris and the staff came around and gathered all the kids to set in the EMPTY VIP seating around the balcony. My son was front and center up top. He really enjoyed his very first rock concert. Everyone we met and the staff at the HOB was great and very courteous. We'll never forget it. Thanks Chris for another great show. I have a ticket to see ya at ziggy's in Winston-Salem. Is there a possiblilty for meet and greet there? I hope so. Take care-Krista

WELL, IT WAS GREAT AS YOU WOULD EXPECT, I COULD TELL CHRIS FELT MUCH BETTER THAN HE DID AT THE CONCERT IN RALEIGH. LOVE THE GUYLINER MYSELF IT GIVES A MYSTICAL LOOK ON STAGE. I WENT, MY SISTER, MY NIECE AND A FRIEND OF HERS. WELL WE WERE RIGHT UP FRONT, A NICE GENTLEMAN LET MY NIECE IN FRONT OF HIM SO SHE WAS FRONT ROW. SHE AND HER FRIEND GOT TO TOUCH CHRIS WHEN HE REACHED DOWN AND WENT THROUGH THE CROWD. SHE WAS SO EXCITED YOU WOULD THINK IT THE HIGHLIGHT OF HER CONCERT NOPE, WE WENT AROUND BACK AND JOEY WAS BACK THERE SHE LOVES JOEY, WELL SHE TOLD HIM "I BLEW YOU A KISS WHY DIDN'T YOU BLOW ME ONE BACK, HE SAID I CAN DO BETTER AND REACH OVER AND KISSED HER ON HER CHEEK SHE FELL TO THE GROUND CRYING AND SHAKING AND HE PICKED HER UP AND HUGGED HER AND MADE SURE SHE WAS OK. I WOULD NEVER HAVE THOUGHT SHE WOULD HAVE HIT THE GROUND BUT IT WAS THE CUTEST THING. I WOULD LIKE TO THANK JOEY FOR BEING SO FAN FRIENDLY. WE HAVE BEEN TO THREE CONCERTS AND THE ONLY ONE WE HAVE SEEN AND GOT PICTURES WITH IS JOEY. HE MADE THAT THE BEST NIGHT OF HER 13 1/2 YEARS OF LIFE.
I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO SAY THE BAND "CINDER ROAD" WITH DAUGHTRY IS SO AWSOME, THE PERFORMANCE THEY PUT ON STAGE IS SOOOOO GOOD. I LOVE THEM. YOU NEED TO GET THEIR CD "SUPER HUMAN" WHEN IT COMES OUT ON JUNE 19TH. YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY. PROMISE.

..ok, so ive been to several concerts..but this one was BY FAR THE BEST IVE EVER BEEN TOOOOO!..chris u rocked..my favorite part was at the end when u tossed the drum sticks out..I CAUGHT ONE!.. Smiling ..i couldnt believe it..my friends say i have an obsession for you guys..and well i guess they are right!..hehe!..im deff. coming to see you guys again SOONNNN..but, the show was great *&* i loved every single thing about it.....!!!!!

This concert was awesome!!! I was with uscmom. Day of Fire totally rocked. We talked to them a little bit before the show b/c we were all eating in the HOB restaurant. They are such nice guys. Cinder Road was good too. They mingled with the crowd a bit. We went in at 7 pm and hurried and like usc said we were centerstage right up under Chris! There were about 2 rows of people in front of us...we were only about 4 or 5 feet from Chris! He totally rocked out the house. Loved when he slung water from his water bottle on us! (Is slung a word? LOL) Anyway...we went out to buses and met Joey and Josh. Chris came out the door and waved to everyone and jumped on a limo bus and was gone.....having withdrawals! Wanna rewind and go back.

What a super concert! My friends and I got there about 12:30 and ate lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe so we could go on and get in line! We got in line about 1:30 and were lucky to be front and center about three rows back when they opened the doors about 7:00! We met some other fans and enjoyed talking to them in the time we waited. Day of Fire really rocked the place as the warm up band. As they were playing, Chris was in the wings rocking with them for a little while. People saw him and started screaming of course! Then came Cinder Road. They were good too, but I liked DOF better. There was a lot of water spraying, so we were wet...the bass player threw a guitar pick and it got stuck in my hair...so I got a souvenier...LOL.. Finally Daughtry came out....Chris hit the stage with the megaphone in hand and started with Crashed. I really liked the song with that added to it! He had his famous beanie on. It was hot in there, so after a while, he took off the beanie and jacket! I wanted to hear WAN, but they had not started doing that in concert yet. The band and Chris sounded great. They put on a terrific show full of energy. (JP was NOT there..) After the concert, we went around to the back to see who we could meet. We were lucky enough to get to meet Josh who was so sweet and friendly and got our pictures made with him.. We also met and got pictures with Joey who was all over the place. He was funny and cute as he could be. I hope I will get to meet Brian, JP, and Chris at another concert. Chris came out and waved to the small crowd that was still there before he got in the car to leave. We left with our memories and look forward to another concert sometime soon!!

What a show

Ok, so Im one of the crazy people who drove for hours to see this show. 8 to be exact. It seems to me the shows get better each time I go. I would have to agree with some other posts that the sets were somewhat shorter than what I was used to, however, the House was rocking. After waiting for a couple hours, we managed to RUN, yes RUN down 2 flights of stairs to get front row. What a cluster that was!!! NO CAMERAS!!! What??? That sucked, with all the lighting it would have made for some excellent pictures. Next show for me is Atlanta. Im out.

A year ago I stood outside a strip mall in McLeansville, NC and watched a small town celebrate Chris's success on Idol. Last night I watched as a sold out house rocked, sang along with his band and adored every minute. Chris is a HUGE talent and his success will continue to grow.

His warm up bands were absolute great as well. They're young, talented and have so much engery. In fact, I plan to purchase one of their upcoming CDs, I was so impressed.

This was the concert I have been looking forward to for a long time. Chris looked and sounded great, except the sound people had the music a little too loud, and it was kind of drowning chris' voice out on the more rockin' songs, although the softer songs came across as perfect. I thought the Pearl Jam cover was really good, too. I really liked the way chris thanked the crowd for being there, and his nice words made up for the 7 hour wait outside!

Just wanted to say that last night's show in Myrtle Beach woo-hoo I mean it was so nice to meet you and to get a hug and a picture and your used guitar pick thank you for that oppurtunity! It wasn't long but hey the opening acts were great and you were great so I can't complain it was the BEST show on earth and everyone enjoyed it, and you guys did too I know of! Chris, again, thanks for the picture and the autographs and your guitar pick and the hugs well thank you for the whole entire show I couldn't be surviving if it wasn't for you and the rest of the guys because you guys complete me and I love you guys TO DEATH thanks again for the show and the VIP for it, too hopefully I'll get to see you guys again soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Loved the show but, I have to agree, way short! Daughtry went on at just before 9 and finished at 10. Very short program. Chris and the guys were great and for the price ---20$ a ticket---it was worth it. A sold out crowd rocked the place and I'm glad I had the opportunity to go.

First-Time Visitors to Myrtle Beach - PLEASE Be Aware of Traffic!

Hey! For those of you who are making your first trip to Myrtle Beach to see Daughtry at the House of Blues, I have to warn you about potential traffic problems.

Memorial Day Weekend is also the Atlantic Beach Bike Festival, which has grown from a bike rally for Japanese bikes to an all-out traffic jam. There are enough bikes as it is, but since it's a young crowd, all the "groupies" come to the beach in their cars to check out the guys on their bikes, thus clogging up the streets and highways. Traffic is beyond unbearable. Some businesses even close because their employees can't get to work during the weekend. Trust me - I've been there twice and the traffic IS that bad. One year it took me a solid hour to drive up one block and over one block. The motorists are rude and won't let people in traffic.

SOOOOO, if you're coming to the concert, I'd suggest planning to get there as early as you can that morning (yes I said morning), and make sure your gas tank is full and you have plenty of coolant, because you're going to need both as you'll be at a standstill for possibly hours. And getting out of there will be even worse because more and more young people will have arrived for the weekend.
