I am a fan (and you should be too), because Daughtry has REAL talent. They know how to play instruments and Chris has a voice that could settle any storm! There are too many people in today's world that claim they are musicians. I have more talent in my little toe than some of the artists out there and they are making big bucks! I ask why? I have been a fan of Chris since his first audition on American Idol, and let me tell you, I was extremely peeved when he was voted off. I think I actually cried! I have never felt so strongly about a contestant before and I have been watching from the beginning. I was not only impressed with his voice, but his personality as well. He is a good-hearted guy who loves his wife with all his heart and loves her kids, even if they are not biologically his! In my opinion, that is a real man! And just when I thought he could not get any better, he found a group of guys that just "complete" him! Joey plays a mean set of drums, and JP really knows how to rock the bass. And of course, Brian and Josh can tickle those guitar strings like nobody else! I will always remember the first time I saw them in concert! I waited outside in the FREEZING cold for three hours just to make sure I was at the stage. Then I stood for another hour waiting for someone, anyone to come on stage. The first opening act came on, they were okay. Then, another 45 minutes for the soundcheck of the next opening act. These guys I felt bad for, because everyone in the crowd was talking and not listening to them. All I kept thinking was how pissed Chris must have been backstage, because his fans were being so rude! I tried my best to hear the words and scream as loud as I could for them. People have to remember, Daughtry started out that way too! Then, another hour went by! Daughtry did not come on stage until 10PM. Let me tell you, they were worth the wait! Even my husband thanked me for dragging him along. The only thing I regret is that I didn't get to touch Chris' hand, but there is always next time!
Oh, did I mention, I am also a fan because Chris is HOT!!!!
