What an excellent show! It was worth the wait and then some. And of course a big thank you to weluvdaughtry for my tickets (my ticket buddy!!!). The opening acts were pretty good (you never know how they are going to be). But I was pleasantly surprised. Then it was the moment everyone was waiting for: Daughtry. If I thought it was loud before that, I was wrong. The crowd went nuts. Daughtry was amazing. His voice was on key, every note, every song. The band was in tune. Chris was connecting with the audience, even us (like me) in peanut heaven that couldn't see much at all. I couldn't have asked for anything better from the band. I wished the venue was a bit bigger (not for having more people, but for more space). But I would do it again in a heartbeat. I got pics despite not being able to see (how I managed that, I will never know).
Thanks guys, for comin to the 'burgh. I hope you enjoyed your short stay in our city and are welcome back at any time. Maybe you can come sing the national anthem when our new arena opens in 2009 (well, if you not too swamped by then!!!) Thanks again, I had a great time.
