May i be the 300th person to tell how proud i am of you and everything you've become. You've come a long way from teaching beginners like me at Stacy's. And i hope you're proud of ME when i tell you i have a small collection of songs started and i can sing and play at the same time =O haha! I sat about 2 inches from the screen when i saw you on Idol. Hey Brian! Mike and I tried to get tickets for the show in Missouri, but they were sold out!!! Not surprised! I told Holli to have you swing by for a home cooked meal, but she said you would probably be in a hurry to get home...don't know why! We are really happy for you and hope everything is going the way you thought it would. It's still wierd(and cool) to see you on TV, but we're used to seeing you mowing the lawn! Take it easy, Holly.

I just found out you will be in Harrington De in July and I along with my family will be the first to buy tickets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would buy them now but...they will not go on sale until April 23rd.. Looking forward to seeing you guys soon!

The kids had their MP3 players in their ears,
Chris Daughtry and his band were all they wanted to hear.
We were too excited to lay in our beds,
While visions of meeting Chris & the band ran through our heads.
So my teenager was dressed and ready to go,

Away to the car we flew like a flash,

I really hope you read this blog.
1st and foremost, I enjoy your music so much! Your sound, your technique and your lyrics are all so phenomenal. You are fabulous and your concert was fun to watch.
I was in Chicago. A friend and I traveled 3 hours to get there. I met a lot of people who traveled further and paid more than my $150.00 for a ticket. We were so excited to see you in concert. We were also hopeful we might be fortunate enough to get an autograph. That of course didn’t happen.
Chris, I need to get serious. I’m a 54 year old fan. I understand the need for security. But I think your guys are a bit extreme.
1st I had a gift for you from Harley Davidson. You probably got a bike from them (or so I’ve heard) but this is a 1 of a kind shirt that I felt you might enjoy. Anyway- I made it to the front left of the stage and your security guard told me to get back, even after I asked him to just give it to you.
I’m not the only one that had trouble with your security. Even the VIP members were treated like dirt. (This is exactly how I felt).
Chris, there were about 50 of us that stood in line in the cold and dampness from 3:00 (of course more came later). We know you were there; we met Joey at the restaurant.
We all felt you had opportunities to met and greet the fans. Perhaps an autograph session, you wanted the small venues so that you could get more personable. Why weren’t you out there then? Bigger stars have signing sessions and its good for publicity. Why can’t security rope off a section for you? Actually, I feel everyone would have been very well behaved without a rope. If you keep treating your fans like you do it might remain the small venue. I sure hope not. Right now we all blame security. Maybe you can change their rudeness. And don’t be so fearful of your fans.
Hope you can change this by the time I get to Madison. Can’t wait to see you there!

I am so excited for you. I just heard from Phil that you hooked up with Daughtry. I have had my head in the sand with work and school for the past year and had no idea. Phil told me in the car on the way down here and I nearly ran off the road! I know Chris is stoked to have talent like yours on board. I am gonna do my best to get in to see the show when you guys come to Universal Studios. There's something you should know; something you said a long time ago about doing whatever it takes to follow your dreams, working a crummy job so you can continue to get by and chase your dream at the same time, and so forth. Well, that was really a great deal of my inspiration to move to Orlando and start chasing my dream. Not to sound wierd or anything, but in that respect, you are one of my heros. I have a great deal of respect and admiration for you. Hopefully some day I will be as succesful with my dream as you have been with yours.
