I am a fan (and you should be too), because...this band has made me feel like a kid in highschool again..back when I really got excited about music! It's great to be in my VERY early 40's (just had to clarify..LOL!) and act like I'm having my first "band" crush. Listen, at my age, I'm not "expected" to watch American Idol, buy the Daughtry CD, MEMORIZE the CD, vote for the video on MTV and VH1, send the video by email to my buds, make people watch the beginning of a football game because Chris was singing the National Athem, sign up for every website that may have the slightest bit of concert information, say "Chris" or "Daughtry" in everyday conversation and last but not least -become a member of an online fan club and create a masterpiece so that I can win tickets!
.
Of course, I've never acted my age and a lot of people say I don't look my age, but that doesn't mean I don't feel "older" once in awhile. I am at the age; however, when I can really appreciate a band for the music.
I'm hoping to win some VIP tickets to see you in INDY!!!! I've never even been in any front row of any concert before and I've been to over 250 concerts. THIS IS THE ONE I'M WAITING FOR!!!! IT WILL HAVE BEEN WORTH THE WAIT!
Chris, to you, I'm so relieved that you didn't join Fuel, although that was such a fabulous offer. I knew you had so much original talent to give us. Deciding to get your own band together was RISKY! You picked the best guys and you all ROCK. I would so love to be there when you perform in Indianapolis and show all of the youngin's that you are NEVER to young to be a groupie! Hope you all can keep up with me when the dancing begins!
LOVE YOUR MUSIC, YOUR VIDEO, YOUR GUEST APPEARANCES and your GENUINE APPRECIATION for being able to live your dream. (Chris, if the tear at the end of the National Anthem wasn't appreciation , I don't know what is!)
