During American Idol Chris showed that he was in it to win it. He gave it his all, He stayed true to himself and his family.

When Chris was voted off he said "when one door closes another one opens." He was so right. He believed and we his fans believed.

Daughtry has hit number one of the charts, smashed records, and on top of that kept it real.

Chris has proved that 4th really is the new 1st.
