Every now and then, if you're really lucky, someone hits you head on with their talent and persona. That's what happened to me from moment one with Chris Daughtry. I wasn't looking for it, and never expected it, but I've gone completely crazy over him and the guys in Daughtry. I've actually thought long and hard on this, and the only rational explanation is that Daughtry DESERVES to be crazy over! Chris and the J's are what music has been missing...the lyrics, the sound, the enthusiasm, the Rock! I know there's a big machine behind the early success of Daughtry but, as a fan, all I'm struck with is how Chris is destined to be doing this. And let me just focus on you for a second, Chris...you are HOT - you have IT - and the most beautiful part is - that's just who you are. True fans love that you're happily married with beautiful kids. We love that you know and appreciate the daily grind. We admire that you believe in yourself and are going for it. We're just happy to be along for the ride. Your music has had such a huge effect on my family. My hubby goes from being a little green-eyed over my admiration for Chris, to admitting Daughtry is good. The best thing though is how your music has given me and my 9 and 14 year old daughters another common ground. We simply love you guys, see you in Anaheim!!! (Hopefully w/VIP passes but we're there no matter what)
