I am a fan (and you should be too), because...I knew Chris was a star when I seen him on our local fox 8 news. He was doing an interview with Shannon. His voice blew me away. I just had to watch Idol. So we could cheer him on. My family sat in front of the tv and we watched it every week and voted for him. We all thought he was the best from the start. Chris became instant friends with my other favorite Ace Young. I knew I had picked Chris and Ace for a reason. Me and my brothers would call each other each week to talk about the recent song Chris did. We were all so sad the night he was kicked off. I actually cried. But after I thought about it for awhile. I realized he was better off cause no matter what he was a star and was going to make it. He is much better off cause he now can do what he wants to do. When he came out with Daughtry I was at the store with the stomach flu. I just had to puchase it. So I drove there sick and determind. I listened to it on the way home. Then my hubby had to listen to it. Now hubby and I switch back and forwards in our cars to listen to it. I think I will have to buy another one so we both can have one. Oh and my son also has to have one. When I heard the songs they were all so awesome that it blowed me away. Just like his first single. Oh by the way I did meet Chris in Norfolk, Va when he toured with American Idol. I got a hug from him and I will never forget it. I also told him while he was going back in the building that I would see him in NC and that we were proud of him. He turned around and gave me the rock n roll symbol.
