We got there at some crazy early time...I think it was about 1:00....HWDOYUSLPATNITE was already there!! hee hee
It was totally worth getting there early...we saw all the guys just walking around the parking lot, going in and out of the bus....I did feel a little bit stalker-ish but I got over it when Chris walked by...wooo He, Brian and another guy (I think from Cinder road) went to Arby's to eat. I suddenly had a craving for a shake..haa! Anyways, so when they came back we said hi and got some pics...they were so sweet. They have got to be sooo tired of doing that! Anyways...then we waited..waited...waited...Cinder Road finally came on at 9pm. The door opened at 7pm...so it seemed like forever! I like Cinder Road...this is the second time I saw them and they are growing on me for sure. I also liked Eve to Adam..they were a bit harder and not bad to look at either...hee hee. The only bad thing about being right on the stage is the flying sweat...yuck...the lead singer was super sweaty.
Then out came the boys!! They are just so humble and grateful and oh so talented! This place was sooo small they did alot of acoustic (including Pearl Jam's BLACK...no offense to E. V. but Chris was better)
It was hot...(like hell, says Chris) there was alot of pushing...the only barrier between the stage and the crowd was a big chain....I was being pushed into it and I literally have bruises on my arms from where I was bracing myself on the chain...ouch!
But I didn't really notice until we left...its hard to peel your eyes off Chris when he is standing 2 feet from you...A car could have hit me and I wouldn't have noticed...haaa!!
I met so many awesome fans and fellow D.O. members...And without DESERT ROSE I would not have been there...THANK YOU SOOO MUCH FOR THE TICKETS!! Your the best!! I had so much fun with ya'll
