I am a fan (and you should be too), because Chris has the most amazing voice and has ROCKED my soul and can ROCK yours too!! He caught my attention during AI and I have continued to be so intrigued with this man and his music and now his band ever since.

I loved music in high school...nothing like the good ole 80's music. Then onto college with the 90's..there were a few good bands. But after college and into motherhood (many years between those two) nothing really sparked my interest. I can't tell you the last time I had seen a concert. Then one night while flipping through the channels, I heard the most amazing voice singing...it was Chris. I couldn't take my eyes off of him - the voice, his stage presence, his look, the love and dedication he has for his family! OMG - who was this man!! I had to know more. I was hooked and haven't looked back since.

On October 13, 2006...with the blessing of my dear husband...I headed down for the long drive to LA to see DAUGHTRY perform for the very first time at the Viper Room. I was blown away....and am still loving every minute of this incredible journey I am having. DAUGHTRY has made me feel alive again. Attending DAUGHTRY concerts and meeting so many new friends is something that this stay-at-home mom and wife really needed. This is something I can do for ME - can't moms be a little selfish sometimes?!

I feel so blessed to have met so many wonderful people on these fan boards. If you asked me a year ago if I would ever post on a fan board...the answer would be "no way!" I am a married mom of two small kids ages 2 1/2 and 4 and this was completely out of my comfort zone. But let me tell you that I am so glad that I stepped out of my box and did because I have some wonderful new friends (many of whom I have been fortunate to meet) and I owe it all to Chris and DAUGHTRY for bringing us all together.

So...if you are not a fan at this time...I have to say I am sorry to hear that!! This band is the real deal...it is the entire package. Chris, Joey, Josh Paul, Josh Steely and Brian are all incredibly talented men that appreciate every single fan that they have. Watching them play on stage with so much energy and passion is an amazing experience that I hope everyone has an opportunity to see. Just know that this diehard DAUGHTRY fan is here for the long haul. LONG LIVE DAUGHTRY!!!
