I HAD TO PURCHASE MY TICKETS FROM EBAY FOR 150.00 BUCKS! IT WAS WELL WORTH IT!!!!!!! WHAT AN AWESOME SHOW. DAUGHTRY ROCKS!

The show rocked. I had a great time. I can't wait until the next time ya'll come to Charlotte.

I thought it was a great show despite Chris being sick!!(which I just found out!!) I saw he posted a blog but couldnt get on to read it until today. I am so ashamed of my thoughts that I had!!! I thought he was being stuck up and trying to hide under his hoodie!! Now knowing that he was sick, I am amazed!! I thought it was a very good show and I didn't even know he was sick!!

So Chris, I hope you feel better and I am looking forward to the May 25th show- and looking forward to getting a pic! I did get a handshake though!!!
Also, maybe you should tell the crowd that you are feeling under the weather, that way we would know instead of saying all these mean things! I didnt know until today that you were sick. I dont remember you saying that you had been sick to the crowd. I still think you sounded pretty damn good!! I was reading some of the posts, and people are harsh! I even thought some bad things, but it was because I had no idea you had been sick!! Anyway, keep up the good work and I will see you May 25th!

I have been to several rock concerts before (small and large venue), but even under the weather, Daughtry out perfomed them all! No pyro... no giant monitors... no flash at all! Just five guys out on the stage giving the crowd all that they had...! The energy of the band was great and that projected over into the crowd. You wanna be critics getting all harsh about his voice when in fact you had to have known that he was under the weather but performing anyways, should have to be in that situation yourself. When you've done that, then you can come back and gripe and complain.

To the band... thanks for an amazing show! WOW! One that my girlfriend and I will surely never forget! We waited several hours in line to make sure that we'd be up front and it was worth every last second of the wait! Can't wait until we can see you perform again.

ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW!!!! YOU GUYS ROCKED. HOPE YOU'RE FEELING BETTER CHRIS. CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU AGAIN IN MYRTLE BEACH. THANKS FOR A GREAT NIGHT!!!

Chris looked and sounded WONDERFUL !!!!! He cared enough about his fans to come out there feeling under the weather and give 150 % and HE DID !!!!! I applaud the band for letting the show go on.......The audience was more than willing to sing the songs with him.......It was a great concert and I am soooo glad they did not cancel !!!!! Sorry if some didn't like it - but the majority of the fans loved it !!!!! ROCK ON - DAUGHTRY !!!!!

I am enranged by how selfish and inconsiderate some of you people are! Chris did his best and continues to do his best to make YOU happy!! He could cancel the whole tour if he wanted to but he does what he does because he loves it and to make his fans happy. Some people are just so ignorant and it's so frustrating to see that because someone like Chris, who seems like such a nice guy, doesn't deserve criticism from people especially his "fans". I would seriously sit there and listen to Daughtry perform no matter what condition they are in and i would be so understanding and forgiving if they didn't do their usual 200% because they were under the weather. That's what a TRUE fan is. Haven't any of you people been raised to be appreciative?! There are so many other people who would have loved to actually be at that concert regardless of how "rough" Chris sounded because they are true supporters of that band. You knew he was sick so give the guy a break. Don't forget that those boys are human just like we all are!

I am really annoyed with these comments about Chris' sounding rough. What on earth do you expect from someone who is sick? I had strep (don't know if that's what he has had) but I couldn't hardly get out of bed much less do what Chris is doing. I admire him even more than I did before. I did not attend this concert, however I did see him in Knoxville a few weeks back and it was the most AMAZING night of my life. Chris was unbelievable and the band as well. I was on front row and I saw up close how he gives his all for us. Even though I know he was dog tired after that show he still came out and took pictures with his fans. He loves his fans and treats us with the upmost respect. I mean how many other artists do you know that would send out emails to fans with a special ticket offer so that we don't have to pay the scalpers to see him? Why can't you all give him the same respect. He's out there for us and if I had been at this show I would have loved every moment of it and even more so knowing that he was pushing himself to try and make us happy. Respect him, as a human being and understand he has feelings too. I will be seeing him again in Asheville on Monday and I know sick or not he will rock the house.

We (your true fans) love you, Chris, and admire you for all you do. God has given you an amazing gift and I thank you for sharing it with us.

I just wanted to let you know that my fiancee called me at 3:30pm on the day of your charlotte show and told me there were extra tickets on sell. Me and my friend knew then we had to go. I thought the show was wonderful and you did sound a little rough but you cant expect a professional singer to sound great all the time. I really enjoyed the concert though. It was great that you let your fans sow you how much they love your music. That was awesome. Well I also wanted you to know I look up to you. I want to be a singer so much but I dont have the confidence. Well Love ya and hope you feel better.

Give the kid a break! He is busting his chops performing night after night. He can't reschedule everything. He did his best and that is what we have to deal with. If he had rescheduled I'm sure someone would have had to put there two cents in about how he cancelled the show. So what was he supposed to do. You can't please everyone-obviously. You should be lucky you even got to go to the show. I'm sure there were many fans who couldn't even get a ticket. And just incase you didn't know he normally lets the crowd sing the songs. If you want to hear him sing listen to your CD!

I loved the show. I thought it showed great dedication. He gave it his all and I and thankful for that, you should be too.

I went to the concert. I applaud your desire to perform for us in NC. But, your voice was really rough, and you let the crowd sing half of your songs. I did not go to hear the audience sing. I wish you had rescheduled this show also. You need to take the time to heal. I look forward to seeing you when your voice is healthy.

First thing is first, Great Show last night at Amos'. Chris, it really takes true dedication to your fans to come out and perform when you are not 100%. Thanks for pushing yourself to the limit and delivering one heck of a show. North Carolina loves you and you are welcome back anytime.

On another note, I want to specifically thank Joey for being such a great person. A friend and I more or less hung out by the buses. It was so crowded inside we figured what could we loose. Before we went inside we took a pic with Joey. He was so nice. Once he came on stage with his light saver during the Cinder Show, I told my friend we needed to go back out and get another pic. Joey graciously went back inside the bus to get his light saver and took another pic with us. Then he proceeded to grab my camera and take pictures of my friend and I with band members from the other bands. He never once acted stuck up or arrogant. He was beautiful inside and out. A down to earth NC guy!

After we met several awesome people including Amos' workers, a camera guys and a club promoter we went inside to see Daughtry perform. They were as always- Awesome .

Word on the street is extra tickets were sold at the last minute for $20. I so wish I would have went up there!!!

Grandmama, who is 88, fell in love with Chris when he was on Idol...and still dotes on him. Best of all, she will be in the audience tonight at the Charlotte event, with grandson Alan who made it all happen for her! So, if you see a tiny little lady in jeans tonight, say hello to Grandmama. She is THRILLED to be going to the concert, and looking forward to seeing all of you there!
