Best Blue Cats Show Yet...
Daughtry, let me just say that I have been a fan since Idol. It is no joke when I say I voted every week, thank god Cingular got to text, no waiting on the phone trying to get through.
Your show happened to fall on my best friends birthday, and we are both huge fans, but the show sold out within 5 minutes here in Knoxville, so getting tickets became impossible. Luckily EBay had a set up the following day, and thank god I won them!
After standing in line for 2 hours, we decided to stand up stairs. Yes, I was that crazy red head on your left corner screaming at the top of her lungs. (I had no voice the next day). The two hour wait wasn't that bad, we rocked out to your entire cd twice before my ipod died, and then met some of your other awesome fans the last 30 minutes or so. I don't think I've ever been to a show with such a diverse crowd, and have never rocked out with people my parents age before. But you pulled it off for sure, and it was easy to se that everyone there was having a great time.
Home was by far my favorite song you preformed, you could just feel the power of it, and every person there seemed to know the words and sing along. Your show was my favorite so far, and I look forward to seeing you perform again in Chatanooga in June!
Words Can't Describe It! VIP Entry
To have the VIP experience would allow me to tell Chris that he inspires me to go for my dreams..
Blue Cats
Awesome show!!! Wish I wasn't so short so I could have seen a little better! My calves definitely got
a work-out from standing on my tip-toes! But the show was worth every minute!
abeeler
The show was great and the band members was nice you couldnt get to close to chris but thats understandable. I had a great time and would go back if they came close
My Tat
Hey if anyone wants to see it, it is in the gallery and also you can click on my name and go to my profile and see it,,,,,,,,,that was awesome!! HA HA it won't wash off now Chris!!!!
Julie in Indiana
Awesome in Knoxville!
Chris was totally awesome in Knoxville! He rocked Blue Cats like they've never been rocked before. The worse part of the entire show was Cinder Road. They were very disappointing and the lead singer even jumped down in the growd and punched a spectator! Not cool!
But I give DOUBLE THUMBS up on Chris! I hope he comes back to Knoxville again, however the next I hope he does a larger venue!
Thanks for the great show.
AWESOME
My husband and I arrived at Blue Cats at 12:30pm. We stood in line for 8.5 hours, but it was well worth it. The group of girls in front of us were so sweet. And can't forget Chief, he rocked lol. We managed to be right in front of the stage. Chris even held my hand at one point and I thought I was gonna pass out. The show was unbelievable, more than I could have ever expected!! But, it got even better afterwards. My husband and I hung around for 2 hours after the show just hoping to get an autograph, and I did, that and a picture with Chris. O gosh, he was sqeezing me soooo tight and smelled so good. I just can't believe I met Chris Daughtry. I just want to thank you, Chris, for loving your fans as much as we love you. But most of all I want to thank my husband, for one of the most amazing nights of my life. He was so patient with me. I know he could have cared less about standing for 14hrs straight, but he did it for me and I love him for it!!!!!! Now it's time to do it again in Asheville on April 16th.
We love you Chris!!!
Oh and to the girls in line in front of me, I would love to get your myspace url. so we can keep in touch. Mine is Jennamoon. Send me a friend request =)
Great Show, but too many opening acts
Ok..I absolutely adore Daughtry...but 3 opening acts when the doors opened at 8pm on a Sunday night? That's insane...and to beat it all, the meet/greet you could take pictures of the guys, but you couldn't pose with them...We paid $95 per ticket 4 minutes after they went on sale. To beat it all, Daughtry rushed through the set. He was done. I drove to Knoxville from Chattanooga to see him live and to meet him. But after the show, there were a few of us groupies hangin out by their bus. The band members were out there hangin out, meeting the fans that stuck around after the show. There was a total of maybe 50 of us..They posed for pictures, signed a few autographs, it was great. Where was Chris? It was like a waiting game for him to see how many fans would clear out so he could get to his bus without being ransacked. The few of us that were out there were very laid back, just anxious to see if we could get up close and personal with Chris and the guys just for a minute. We waited over 2 hours after the show just to see if we could sneak a peek. We left. I just hope that this isn't the start of him losing his down to earth personality and his appreciation for his fans. Like he has said the whole time, it is because of his fans he is where he is now. He is scheduled to be in Chattanooga June 9 @ the Riverbend festival. This will probably be the biggest crowd. On any given festival night, there are over 115,000 people there..Chris, please don't forget who you are. I am so fond of your music, your style, everything. Don't let this business suck you in like it has just about everyone......
Simply Amazing can't waitto see them all again in Charlottesville!!!!!!!!!!
All the bands were great. Josh Paul you are the man!!!! Your personality and way with the fans is by far unbeatable! YOU ROCK! Daughtry over exceeded my expectations!!!! I love you guys and I can't wait to see you again! I took my dad for his birthday and he had a GREAT time too. Between photo opps, autographs, and Josh Steely giving my dad (a huge guitar player and fanatic) a DAUGHTRY guitar pic...he said it was the best birthday EVER!!!!!
Thanks so much guys!!!!!!!! Congratulations on your much deserved success!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Awesome show !!! Keep rockin'
I'll Never Forget it.........
WOW!!!! What a show, guys! This was my first time attending a concert at Blue Cats and it was great! Chris, I'm so glad to see you succeeding in your ultimate dream! I wish ONLY the best for you and the band. I hope to be rockin' to you guys 20 years from now! You guys seem to be genuine, the REAL DEAL, and a great role model. You love to perform and you love your fans, and I love that about you guys! Thanks for stopping in Knoxville. You're always welcome here, and next time we'll fill up the Thompson Bowling Arena for DAUGHTRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks again!
DAUGHTRY ROCKED IT BABY! Knoxville TN
I was there and they rocked it! Unfortunately I wasnt up front of the stage but I had an awesome view of everyone but the drummer I was upstairs right over JP's head all night. Since i couldnt get there till like 2 hrs before the doors opened probably the best view this short girl could get! We pretty much got to meet all the other bands but Sigh wasnt able to stay long enough to meet anyone from Daughtry! My friend had school the next morning and wanted to go! It was awesome that the guy came out so late to do all that I wasnt lucky enough but I know the fans really appreciate that! But all in all it was an amazing show. It was my feel good present to myself and I am still feeling good. I cant come down off my "daughtry high" I have heard Its Not Over on the radio so many times and it gets me pumped up everytime LOL It takes me back to the concert LOL. It meant so much to me to be able to go! The only thing that could have possibly made it any better other than meeting the guys would have been Having my soldier by my side as They performed and Chris sang "I don't regret this life I chose for me ,But these places and these faces are getting old ,So I'm going home" It honestly gave me chills to be able to be there and hear & see them perform that song! It was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had! I can not wait to see you guys again!
If anyone was in the front few rows see my blog on my profile I might have a pic of you there in the crowd!

What a freakin awesome show!!
I am so tired, sun burnt and my feet are killing me but after it was all said and done it was SO worth it. My wife and I (julicecwarren1 below) stood in line with Terinna and Monicana almost all day! Chris and the band were great. They took pictures and talked with us. The show was amazing! I will definitely see Chris and the band again!
Check out my post in the Midwest Forum. (Terinna I'm sorry I spelled your name wrong, it won't let me edit it!)
WOW!!!! Daughtry rocked the house in Knoxville!!!!
OK...............I was like the third person there at 9:30 a.m.
It was so awesome!!!!! I stayed all day...........well, actually until 2:30 a.m.
But it was so worth it, just to get a picture with Chris!!!! The show rocked, I don't think I have never been so excited. My hubby was so good through it all (bless his heart). I got the first picture of him when he got off of his bus but I jumped over everyone in line behind me, like a crazy woman. Kudos to Chief, the security guard...........he was awesome!
I soooooooooo want to do it again! And I will!!!! Everyone in line there with us all day was great...............and we all had alot of fun. Maybe we will all meet up again someday at another show. I bought my tickets on e-bay and you know what I am sooo gald I did. DAUGHTRY, YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!! each and every one of you! You were all so nice..........I will always be a true fan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Knoxville Tn Blue Cats
This was my first concert EVER. And it was AMAZING!!!!!!!!! I got there and got in line at 12 or so. My husband and I were the 8th ppl there. My friend got there a couple of hours before me since she was already in Tennessee (I had to drive from Kentucky). We had a blast in line with all the people in line with us! If any of you read this, add me as a friend or message me!! I have some amazing pics we could exchange them.
Anyway, as the crowd stared to arrive, I was so happy that we were up front of that line! It stretched all the way around the parking lot! The guys of the band were in the parking lot early on playing football! My friend Terinna and I first got a pic with Brian and talked with him for a few minutes. He was so nice. He stepped in gum while he talked to us.
LOL... Then we got him to sign our CD's. Then we got our pics taken with Josh Paul. He was the nicest and funniest dude EVER!! We got to talking to him and forgot to ask him to sign our CD. But we talked to him again later and got it signed.
Then we got our pic taken with Josh Steely. He was a very nice person too! He also signed our CD.
When we got in the concert, it was awesome how close we were to the stage! I was right up front!! It was so cool. The first band was Days of Fire, they ROCKED it out! They had the place so pumped up! The next band was Cinder Road. I loved their music, but they were much more mellow than the first band. Then Eve to Adam played. They were super too!! You talk about rocking, they did!! Then came the moment we waited on.... Daughtry took the stage! All that time standing in line, the heat, and the sore feet, were SOOOOOO worth it! The band was awesome! They are all so hott too (had to get that in there). They were stoked!! Josh Paul is amazing to watch, he was all over the stage. He was so hyper, I couldn't even get a good pic of him! LOL.. Chris was close to the stage and he held my hand for a few seconds!!! I was stoked! The song set was awesome too! I loved singing along at the top of my lungs with every song they done! I have some great pics of the night!!
After it was over, I didn't hang around. My husband had to be back at work in 4 short hours. And we had a long drive home ahead of us. So we left. My friend stayed and she got her pic taken with Chris!!! She got our CD's signed by the others too. I wish I had stayed
It was the best freakin time I've ever had!! I couldn't have asked for a better concert experience!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks guys for putting on the best show EVER!!
WOOO HOOOOO DUDE YOU ALL ROCK!!!!!
Hey There Everyone!!!!!
Drove from Indianapolis In and it was worth it to see him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Me and the Hubby waited in the sun from 10ish am til abou 1pm, got baked, came back at 230pm and waited til the show!! THEY ROCKED!!!!!! Chris put on such a good show, if you get the chance to go see him, as Nike says "Just Do It"!!! It was great!! Days of Fire was really good too!!!! After the show midnight (now remember we sat around almost all day!!!!!! We waited outside for another 2 hours and it was worth it. Chris came out and signed autographs and took pictures with us. I got Chris to sign my back, and guess what? Chris says "It wll wash off tomorrow", HA HA guess what it never will now. I GOT IT TATTED ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope to see the guys again, they rocked the house!!!!

My husband and I saw you at Blue Cat's last night and we thought you were awesome!!!!!! We drove 5 hrs from Indiana and it was worth every minute. I tried to get tickets for your show in Louisville the next night but they were sold out:( which totally sucks because I live like 25 min from that venue! But I know I will see you guys again because you are so incredible!!!!! Thank you for a wonderful show and God bless you in all that you do and be safe as your travel:) I love you Chris Daughtry!
YOU ROCKED!
I am sure I will never get the chance to see you in such a small place, and am SOO excited I got to be at Blue Cat's. The show was amazing and I am still stoked! Knoxville, Tn. ROCKED!!
I attended the concert tonight and I have to say it was awesome!! We stood in line for 8 hours outside the gate a then of course watched the show. The show itself was great but it does not compare to the complete joy of meeting CHRIS. I was so impressed with the way you handled the crowds in line and even us silly people who walked up to you during your lunch.... in which you had charm and sincerity in the way you spoke to me. Please keep the humbleness that comes with working you way to the top and You my friend will have a successful and fulfilling career. I love everything about you and I think your wife is a very blessed woman to have you in her life. Keep rocking and I'm sure will see you soon in the future. May God bless your journey and meet all your needs.. YOU ARE ONE COOL GUY WITH A HEART OF GOLD AND A PERSONALITY TO MATCH!!!!!!!!!!
Knoxville at Blue Cats
BEST show ever!! I had an amazing time..My feelt hurt soooo very bad but it was completely worth it. I can't wait to see Daughtry again, hopefully soon...
WOW!!!!!!
YOUR CONCERT WAS AWESOME. MY ONLY REGRET IS NOT GETTING CLOSER.. YOU ROCK!!!! I AM HONESTLY ONE OF YOUR BIGGEST FANS ALL THE WAY FROM "THE LETTER"...I JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW HOW MUCH WE HAVE IN COMMON I READ ONE OF YOUR INTERVIEWS AND ITS CRAZY HOW MUCH TASTE OF MUSIC WE HAVE IN COMMON.. JUST LETTING YOU KNOW HOW MUCH YOU ROCKED AT BLUE CATS AND I WILL GO SEE YOU AGAIN SOON!!! GOOD LUCK.
I'M MISSING THE SHOW....
I JUST WANTED TO LEAVE YOU A FEW LINES....YOUR IN CONCERT TONIGHT AT BLUECATS IN KNOXVILLE...*WIMPER*...I COULDN'T GET TICKETS...*SNIFFLE*...BUT I WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW...I THINK YOUR A WONDERFUL MUSICIAN AND YOUR BAND IS GREAT. I'VE BEEN PULLING FOR YOU SINCE I FIRST SAW YOUR AUDITION ON AMERICAL IDOL. I HAD A CAR ACCIDENT IN AUGUST 2005 AND WAS BEDRIDDEN FOR 6 MONTHS...I HAD NEVER REALLY FOLLOWED AMERICAN IDOL, BUT PICKED IT UP WHEN I HAD NOTHING ELSE TO DO...AND BOY AM I GLAD I DID! YOU PICKED UP A HUGE FAN HERE...BUT I THINK MAYBE THE PEOPLE KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING...YOU GOT ENOUGH COVERAGE WITH AMERICAN IDOL TO PICK UP A HUGE FAN BASE, THEN VOTED OFF..AND NOT TIED TO THEIR CONTRACTS...THATS AWESOME IN ITSELF!
I WAS SOOOO IMPRESSED WITH THE WAY YOU STUCK WITH WHO YOU WERE, NEVER CONFORMING TO WHO THEY WANTED YOU TO BE. NOT TO MENTION DOING THIS WITH A FAMILY! I KNOW ITS HARD..I SAND WITH A BAND AND ALL WE DID WAS TRAVEL WITHIN 3 STATES, BUT IT WAS HARD BEING AWAY FROM MY CHILDREN. MY HEART ALSO GOES OUT TO YOUR WIFE...BEING AWAY FROM YOU, HOPEFULLY YOU CAN GET THEM ON THE ROAD WITH YOU BEFORE LONG.
I REALLY WISH I COULD HAVE BEEN THERE TO LISTEN TONIGHT, BUT MAYBE I CAN CATCH A SHOW SOMEWHERE CLOSE SOON.
GOOD LUCK AND KEEP DOING WHAT YOUR DOING.
ONE OF YOUR BIGGEST "OLDER" FANS...
