After months of waiting for Daughtry to come to NYC . It was well worth the wait.
I only wish we were able to meet him. Chris Sang his heart out even though the fans were joining in , he seemed to enjoy it. Chris spoke to us and gave plenty of eye contact. He made the people in the front go wild when he put his arm out. Brian Josh J.p were also great. I enjoy all the songs he performed over you had to be my favorite. They got down and they sure know who to bring it to NY. I hope Newyork didn't let you down CHRIS!
I would definitly go to another event, I am hoping Universal Studios 4-7-07
Love you guys more than you know

I just wanted to say thank you to Daughtry for an AMAZING show on Monday at Irving Plaza in NYC. My friend and I took the train in to Penn from Suffolk County, Long Island. It was a night I will never forget. It is kind of depressing knowing that it's over since we looked foward to it for so long but I can say I was there and honestly was one of the best nights of my life. I am being completley honest when I say that. I LOVED it. You guys put on a great show and Im grateful for being there. So go on with the rest of your tour but don't forget to come back to NY !

I would like to thank Chris for a great show Monday.
Also I would like to thank Deanna for allowing Chris to follow his dream. So we can enjoy his music.
Love the album. It helps me escape from the real world of daily craziness of football soccer wrestling dance, etc.Even though I need an escape I know we are very blessed to have what we have and our children. I have been married for 12 years and respect the sacrifices it takes to make a marriage work. So many more blessings and success.
PS I hope you get it. I just want to say thank you. (I am accountant not a writer. HAHA)
PSS Deanna another secret to marriage is diamonds

I went to the show Monday night at Irving Plaza and it was AMAZING! Chris had so much fun, performing, making silly, funny faces and goofing around with the band members and encouraging the audience to sing with him! I was in the front row, which, of course, was a dream come true to see him sooo close! He is absolutely gorgeous, incredibly talented, fun and the night was just unbelievable! I am still exhausted from lack of sleep that night and work the next day, but it was worth it to see Chris live and in such a small venue!

I have to say that this is one of the best concerts that I have gone to. I live in NY and I got to Irving Plaza about 6:30pm with the show starting at 8:00pm. I was suprised that the will call line was so short. After they opened the doors both the will call and hard ticket line was going in at the same time. We ran upstairs and was about second or third row from the stage which was awesome. My sister held down our spots while I went to coat check. About 9:00pm the first group called Cinder Road performed. I loved their energy and stage presence! The songs I really liked and decided to buy their cd afterwards. Below are some pictures of this band that you might enjoy.

Afterwards the group Eve to Adam went on. I really liked their song 2 pills. Compared to Cinder Road I think this band's music was more " harder" but nonetheless I enjoyed their songs. The lead singer tone of voice was raw and his body was hot lol. Below are some pics Smiling

Okay afterwards the show was a wrap because Daughtry was coming out!!! They teased us by playing for awhile and then you heard the music for Crashed...then out comes Chris and the crowd went bananas I mean crazy!!! I was really trying to keep my composure but yeah that went out the window. I did both photos and video. Unfortunately since I was like dancing the video that I did take was somewhat shakey. He has a new song but I didn't record it out of respect for them.
He also did the song Rocketman was was freaking awesome and if you wasn't there I really feel bad . Oh man all of the songs were hot. Daughtry has such great stage performance and everyone was singing along and when he looked at you, you were like stuck lol .Anyway some people caught Chris guitar pick and Joey's drumsticks. It was so awesome and it's so hard to explain the feeling. It did seem like only the people at the front was really into it. The people on the balcony were really wack and didn't seem " hype" or excited or maybe it was just me, nah it wasn't lol
Enough talking and on with the pics. I took so many I'm just posting the ones I like so enjoy.

I want to play a game ...

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!! AWESOME SHOW!!!!!

CAN'T WAIT FOR YOU TO BE AT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN !

I can't believe how amazing the show was!! First, my niece & I drove in from Jersey to see the show & got there a little before 4 pm to wait on line. There were only about 15 people ahead of us! I really needed to use the bathroom after the ride & wanted a coffee too. So, I went in the restaurant next to Irving Plaza to get a coffee & a water for my niece. There was only 3 people in there eating in a back booth. I must have looked like an idiot, because I did such a "double-take" when I realized it was Chris, Joey, & Brian! Omg, I was in awe but I didn't want to invade their privacy while they were eating, so I didn't approach them! I did get a smile from Chris as he probably knew I recognized him because I kept looking at them. When I came out, I quietly told my niece to go in for a coffee because they were in there but not to bother them. She did & was also in awe.
Anyway, I was right in front as the show started off with Cinderoad who were great. Then it was Eve To Adam, who also rocked. I was not familiar with their music but I really did enjoy them. Then it was time for Daughtry! They started off with, "Crashed" & the fans went wild! Chris seemed to feed off the energy of the fans. He started to laugh as he was singing, because we fans were singing right along with him, & he just seemed genuinely amazed by this. They continued to do the songs from their album, but Chris also sang "Rocketman" & a song he wrote with Rob Thomas which he said may be on the new album. He sang so beautifully with his amazing, one of a kind voice & the band was fantastic! They really put on such a terrific show & made their fans feel so special. I got to touch Chris' hand too!
I am a bit bummed that the pictures I took came out crappy though. It was great hanging out with some of the other DO fans too, we looked out for one another & it made the show even better! Although I never did get to meet any of the members of Daughtry, it was one of the best nights of my life. I don't know if I'll ever be that close to the stage again. The whole experience of the voice, the music, the energy ~ only left me wanting more! I now feel like a, Daughtry junkie, waiting & wishing for my next fix!

Thoroughly enjoyed the show! You guys rocked the Plaza~! Definitely a valiant start to a lasting career. I was expecting a polished cover band singing their own material for the first time and walked away to quite the contrary...you've made it right along side all the seasoned artists. You know a band isn't just "a band" when they play different renditions of their own material live. I can't tell you how many artist's I've seen that like popping in a CD during rush hour traffic...boring. Your show was a breath of fresh air, real talent, energy and entertainment. Keep it up and run with it! Rock on and stay real...

I JUST WANT TO SAY THE SO WAS AWESOME LAST NIGHT I HAD GOOD TIME.

LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT.

SADDLY IS BACK TO THE REAL WORLD OF A SOCCER MOM/ DAUGHTRY FAN.

I GOT THE CHANCE TO MEET CHRIS AND THE BAND... THEY ARE SOME OF THE NICEST GUYS YOU WILL EVER MEET. I WON A CONTEST THAT ALLOWED ME TO MEET THEM AMD LISTEN TO THE SOUND CHECK. THE SHOW ITSELF WAS AMAZING! I ALSO MADE NEW FRIENDS ROSA AND DEANNA YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME AND I HAD THE GREATEST TIME WITH YOU!!! WE WILL DEFINITELY GO IT AGAIN! I ALSO GOT TO GO BACKSTAGE FOR A LITTLE WHILE AFTER THE SHOW AND TALK TO CHRIS HE IS ONE OF THE SWEETEST GUYS EVER! JP WAS AWESOME TOO I GOT A PICTURE WITH HIM . ALL IN ALL IT WAS A GREAT NIGHT!

The show was terrific. The first band was very up beat but to be honest with you the second band was unfortunately too much. It was not that they weren't good, but it was getting late and it just seemed like it took forever for Daughtry to come on. No matter, once he did it was so worth the wait. I liked the first band. They all came out after the show and totally appreciated everyone who bought merch. I hope Chris doesn't lose his humbleness and that he remains a regular guy. He is so much better live, and the band was larger than life. The mix was great.

I loved his rendition of Rocketman. I love his voice, it peirces every part of me! I wish I could've finally met him though...I waited outside for 2 hrs. in hopes to see him, get his autograph...he never came out of where he was suppose to! I did meet Clive Davis though! I'm pissed I waited for nothing and also pissed the crowd made me take my cowboy hat off, even though I wore it for Chris in memory of when he wore it on his firt audition for Idol. The crowd was older than I expected, but once he got going everyone got LIVE anyway. I wish he would have sang ":mystery" somehow with his band! All in all it was a great show, but also a tease! I want more...so much more Chris Daughtry Vocal!

I was at the concert last night. Chris is an Awsome performer and really pulls in the audience. I could have done without the two acts before him, they only took away the time I would have prefered to hear Chris. I can't wait to hear more. Buy the way thank you WPLJ since I won the tickets in an on air contest. I voted for chris on american idol and now he is taking his rightful place as a true artist.

I thought the band did a great job but I feel that there were some sound issues. The guitar was overpowering Chris' vocals in the beginning.

Chris was amazing though. He opened up with "Crashed" which is one of my faves. His "Rocket-man" version was great too.

I'm exhausted and deaf today but I'm so glad that I had the opportunity to see him in a small venue.

I took my daughter to her first concert/show. He is her favorite. What a great show. The man seemed thoroughly flattered that the audience knew all the words to all his songs. He is a class act! I loved his version of Rocketman.

just got back from the show..it was awesome...great show--great sound--band and chris were great...waiting to hear the last song on the CD live one day....come back to new york/new jersey soon--we love you here!...wish we could have all stayed a little longer!!

Only 3 fans are going so far to the Daughtry conert at Irving Plaza N.Y.?? I wish I was one of them! I was on line and on the phone, 12 seconds after the tickets went on sale and they were gone! Then I tried the special that the fan club was doing...too late. I have been on line every day to see if the tickets would go to down to 2 times what the original price was, but no luck there either. The scalpers really screw it up for the fans!! They all still have plenty of tickets left, so what happens to them if they still have them and no one buys them?? This kind of stuff has to stop!! They shouldn't be able to make a living by screwing fans!! " If I were a rich girl" then I would be going. Instead I will be wishing I was there. Aimathin
