(and you should be too), because...it's about the music. Chris' voice moves me and his songwriting talent showcases that voice. Each of the songs brings something different, from the tug on the heartstrings acoustic version of Home to the get up and bounce around the room feeling I get when listening to There and Back Again. Chris may have recorded his first album with studio musicians, but JP, Josh, Joey and Brian are a great collection of talent in their own right. This band just gels together well. Each brings experience with them, whether it be songwriting, singing, or just plain rockin' playing skills. The more I hear the songs played live, the more they become DAUGHTRY songs.

But it's not only about the music...it's how the music impacts us. I have met people from all over the US and even the UK because of DAUGHTRY. Many of us have joined in efforts to help the troops, those facing medical crises, or some dealing with everyday basic struggles. DAUGHTRY's music appeals to so many: my best friend's mom loves to listen to the album...and so do my students. I have heard some fantastic new bands - and gained a renewed love for some old ones because of DAUGHTRY.
