HI Everyone,
I think, like all articles, that when someone goes above and beyond what was anticipated, there are always going to be rumors and interjections of negativity. I listened to a radio interview someone had posted and you hear Chris say how Deanna is he main person and that she and the kids will be with him this summer. Chris has always stood, right from the beginning, on his Faith, Family and the love he has for both of those. Never once did he wavier from that, look at his bio in the CD. Who did he thank?
We have to be positive and hold Chris and his family up in our prayers and know that Chris will not change, no matter what the naysayers write!!
Yes, there are many others who have let fame pull them down the wrong path, Chris is not one of these and never will be.
As for the one who left the band, he was young and not ready for this type of commitment. That is okay, it's not held against him and it's not a put down on Chris of the rest of the members. Nor does it mean something is wrong with Daughtry.
We must all try to help others see Chris and Daughtry as Daughtry, not American Idol. I can agree with Chris on this. Though AI helped get him in front of the audiences, his talent is what made him and Daughtry what they are. so let's continue to spread that message to others and hope that someday we can get everyone to leave out the American Idol saying and instead, say Daughtry!!!
