I am a fan (and you should be too), because...Chris is the definition of an "American" Idol. I'm not talking about the show American Idol where he didn't win because I think not winning that show was actually the best thing for him. He is Americas Idol because he proved that when you want something and it has been your dream for so long, nothing can stop you. Keep your chin up and keep plugging along. With those who love you behind you, you will succeed. I knew from the minute I saw him on my TV during the AI auditions he was special. He was Americas next idol. He was the all american family man who made sure his wife and kids where #1. Not to mention he has an amazing voice which is different than so many rockers out there and he has an amazing look that makes you want to watch him perform. I feel so blessed that I live in Chris's home state. I have had the opportunity to see him perform several times and each time has been awesome. He is the ultimate performer! I am on the edge of my seat from the minute he enters that stage until the second he leaves and he has you hanging on for an encore and then for the next time you can see him. After all that, I can sum it up by saying Chris has that "X" factor that can't be learned and he has me hooked! From what I have seen from the rest of the guys in Daughtry they are just as amazing as Chris and I would love the opportunity to meet them and get to know them better right along with Chris!
