I'm a fan (and you should be too) because Daughtry is AMAZING. Their album blows me away every time I hear it. Personally, their music makes me feel very alive! It's energizing and emotionally charged. Chris is a phenomenal singer, songwriter, guitar player, and front man. Hands down, Chris is the ultimate ROCK STAR. He is extremely attractive with the personality and talent to back it up. His band is incredible as well. Chris hand-picked the best musicians to form his band. No doubt Chris and the boys will continue to rock for many, many years to come. Their first album and tour is just the beginning.
Chris puts his heart and soul into every strum of his guitar, every word he sings and every song on his album - and it shows. He wants you to connect with his music. (No problem there!) During shows, he allows you to take pictures of him, touch his hand, AND sing along with him - no matter how off key you probably are. He pays attention to everyone in the audience and not just those on the front row, giving shout outs to those in the back or up on the balcony. His magnetic personality draws you in and makes you want to know more about him. He gives an enormous amount of credit to his wife for her love and support, emphasizing the importance of family. Clearly, he is a loving husband and father - a real man of integrity. Someone you can be proud to support! Daughtry sells quality merchandise so your souvenir from a show isn't some flimsy piece of fabric. (Love the hoodies!) Through this official website, Chris gives you an inside look at the making of a band, the recording of an album, and the road trip of a lifetime. (What we wouldn't give to climb aboard!) Daughtry can relate to just about anyone through their music. It knows no boundaries! Chris lets you admire his sexy physique without showing it off or even knowing how great it really is! He can serenade you with a meaningful ballad, cover a U2 song as though he were Bono, and rock the stage all in the same show. Daughtry's acoustical rendition of "Sunday Bloody Sunday" is breathtaking - for me, it's better than the original. I get chills every time I hear Chris' vocal lead in on that song. In fact, I often tear up whenever I hear Chris sing any song because you can almost feel the emotion and intensity he is putting into each song and it's just a moving experience every time. Daughtry ensures you have a good time whether you are listening to their music on your iPod or experiencing it live in concert. Chris wants you to experience the magic of the band; socially and musically, they are very tight. (Listen to any of the acoustical recordings and this becomes even more apparent) He wants you to love his band members every bit as much as you love him. (And we do!) Most of all, he wants you to forget feeling sorry for him because he didn't win American Idol.
Even though none of us really know Chris, I think it's safe to say that we all feel as though we do...
As Daughtry gains more momentum, we will hopefully continue to enjoy all of these AWESOME things. No matter how successful he becomes, I'm confident Chris will always remain the guy we fell in love with at "The Letter".
I really hope I have the chance to meet Chris Daughtry and thank him in person for everything he's shared with us. I would love, love, love to meet him!!
