There was this very young boy that came into the store the other day and he was wearing a shirt that had Hugs on it and some other stuff and it made me think of you!! I heard the boy explaining the meaning behind his shirt to people and it just made me smile.
Anyway I love you Joey and hope things are well and had to show you some love since you do that everyday to the people you come in contact with!!

This past April, I flew to Florida to stay the weekend with a friend and her family ………. this week a friend from Indiana chose to spend her vacation with me and see my city for the first time …….. both people I would never have met had it not been for first Chris and then Josh, Josh Paul, Joey, Jeremy and then Brian ……… the boys of ~ DAUGHTRY ~ not to mention Travis who started our home board and Lisa who started our home thread.

These past two years have been a constant source of amazement for me …….. flying off to concerts to meet complete strangers ……….in some cases even staying in their homes.

I first met my Indiana friend Elyse in person at GMA ………. November 2006, along with Lynne, Steph and Lisa (KF) , then again in Florida where we stayed with Lisa (of the April trip) for the Universal concert, and Elyse again at Syracuse last fall. So many more – Michele for two concerts – Barb whose home we stayed in for the Syracuse show – all the ladies at Universal …….. Ricki, Vicki, Tywla, Kaz, Treena, Laura ……… the list goes on.

Do you young gentlemen even realize the effect you have had on so many lives?? I don’t think you do.

I am only one person and look at the friends I have met in person and the dozens of others online …….. multiply that by the number of fans everywhere who have formed friendships through the love of DAUGHTRY and the result touches infinity. It also touches my heart.

First came the music, then, after what amounts a brief moment in the grand scheme of things in Ottawa, came the realization that not only were you five young men talented, but you were humble, down to earth and most importantly, respectful of your fans. That whomsoever watches over us chose to have put all of you together is wondrous.

For whatever time I have left on this earth I will be forever grateful …….. you have given my life new meaning …… and new friends.
