Where oh where do I begin? There isn't a day that goes by that I'm not thankful for discovering this amazing band. I've liked Chris since he sang "Wanted Dead or Alive" on Idol, but it wasn't until "I Walk the Line" that I started becoming a huge fan. I cried hysterically when he got voted off, but now I look at it as a blessing in disguise. Ever since I started liking them and saw them in concert last year, their music has given me more hope, joy, happiness, and love that I haven't had in a long time. Also, there hasn't been a band/group that I've been really excited for in years. I feel like Daughtry has recently been a band that I could invest all my love and support for. I love how they give their fans so much optimism with their music and everything that they are. It's very rare nowadays that a band like Daughtry would come to the music scene with not only excessive amounts of talent & passion, but also the warm, easygoing respectability & humility to back it up. Chris seems like a sweet, humble guy who puts God, his family, his band, and his fans ALL before himself. Not to mention that his voice is an INCREDIBLE thing to hear! Each member of the band has their own quirks that they bring to the table. They have gone and still go out of their way to make their fans feel like the most special people in the world. Also, they've got to have some of the BIGGEST hearts ever! They stand out from other bands because they actually CARE about all the travesties in the world and are willing to help out in any way they can. It shows in the charities that they've been a huge part of. When I heard that they chose to make a difference in the lives of autistic kids, in some ways it gave me inspiration to become an advocate for autism awareness. Another reason why I love being a fan is because they have brought me to befriending a lot of fans online, and now I'm not ashamed of it. My love for Daughtry will never diminish, and I will always support them no matter what they decide to do.
