well, i worked today so i just got home about an hour ago. my whole desk was decorated for my birthday. it was crazy...it took me like a half hour just to clean it up! lol and then later we had this department meeting...and they finally announced my promotion to the whole department... i knew i was getting it but they hadn't really told me yet...i had just heard from people..so it was kinda a surprise....lol...anywaaaay...i'm gonna go get ready and goo! hope you guys all have a great 3 day weekend!

has everyone heard about the tornado happening in Riverside County? it derailed a train a couple miles from my school. i didnt get to see the actual funnel though. all i saw was heavy rain for like 45 minutes straight, then it all stopped. I was wearing shorts yesterday too

im so glad this crazy weather hasnt caused any damage to me or any of my friends/family. last year i could see the fires from my backyard :blink:

Oh my gosh you guys I felt like a terrible Daughtry fan yesterday lol. I tried to think about the name of the first single yesterday for hours!!!! I could not think of it for nothing!!! I didn't even know how it went. I saw the video in my mind but that was it. So i had my sister thinking with me and all the single came on the radio but of couse that one. I was driving me crazy and I felt horrible that I forgot. Anyhoo we ended up at at target and of course there wasnt any copies anywhere (nice to know ppl are still buying) . I did eventually find a copy near the checkout so I was able to rest. Useless story I know hehe.

The radio stations here have actually made me almost hate "Home".

they had this jukebox where you can request songs, and of course i HAD to request some Daughtry! the only ones they had were INO and Home. I put in my money and it didn't work. I told the guy what happened and he said he could do nothing, so h just gave me a dollar back. Anyway like an hour later, im going up to bowl and INO comes on!! i screamed and made the worst bowl ever, lol i was too excited.

thats cool. i signed up on the idol site a loooong time ago, and got tickets a couple times but i didnt go cuz they tell you like, a day before the show and i live too far away. so i couldnt plan it all out that quick. lol. hope you have a great time! cheer loudly for Cook! lool

and the heat? yeeeah. jeez its so hot. it was 105 yesterday and then 103 today. remember our deadly heat wave last year? i hope that doesnt happen again.

i signed up at ocatv.com last summer and barely got the tickets, now, so it takes a looong time. tickets for it are free, and so is everything else on that site. the only thing i hate is all the waiting. the line starts at 10 am but they dont let u in till 1:30. im gonna die in the heat!!!

but the doctor i went to is such a dumbass. he said he wasn't sure if it was strep throat but we would treat it as if it was for "now." ....so he did some swab test and said we'll get the results in 3-5 days...if it IS strep throat...finish the prescription. if it's not strep throat....then stop taking the medicine cuz its probably just a virus. well....they called while i was at work the other day and of course wouldn't give the results to my mom cuz ya know, im not under 18...so i called them back a million times..and didn't get an answer. finally i talked to someone yesterday, and they said they'll have someone call me tomorrow...which was today. and no one called. my medicine finishes this saturday, in 2 days...and i dont even know if im supposed to be taking it or not. sooo...i stopped taking it. seriously, its like helloo? am i like, killing myself by taking something i probably shouldn't even be taking?? LOL so yeeah. im just a bit frustrated with that...that's all! i should sue his ass. LOL

how everyone doing?

school this week was a roller coaster ride. my class is doing a scholarship competition. its not much money , but at least its something. we had to make a resume, essay on why we want to go to college, and a 3 minute speech on why we deserve the scholarship and how we've overcome our obstacles. i cried during my presentation, and so did a bunch of others. it was kinda cool cuz some of the people who seem really shallow have got amazing or sad stories and everyone did awesome. we all walked out of class with tears in out eyes, and now everyones nervous cuz they wanna win it and everyone deserves it.
