I have no idea where to even begin, so I will just share the whole ordeal with you guys. We left here about noon yesterday and I thought for sure we'd somehow manage to miss the rain...man was I wrong. We actually were fine until we were right outside of Kansas City and then it just started pouring! Just imagine riding in the car with a very cautious driver, add the interstate, traffic, and pouring rain. It's definately not a good mix, we were having trouble with visibility and eventually slowed down to around 40 mph. Now dont get me wrong, she is one of my bestest friends and I love her to pieces, but when it's to the point that another driver will pass you, honk, and flip you off, you know it's bad (or someone just has a bad case of road rage.) We finally got off the interstate, took quite a few wrong turns, but eventually found ourselves close to the sprint center. Anyway, we went up to the box office to see if they had any information on our tickets and the guy had told us that we needed to wait till 6 or so and check back. So we come back at 6, and they tell us we need to go to the main entrance and they'll know what to do...well we go there and are told to go stand in the VIP line. so we wait a few minutes and we are let in........and then right back out. We were told we needed to go back to the box office, then we were told to go to the main entrance..so we do that...and guess what? Go back to the box office!! FINALLY! the 5th or 6th or 7th time (I lost count) must have been the charm. All the confusion was definately worth the outcome though! We got in our seats, which were fantastic by the way, and waited patiently and I tell you what, I was completely in awe of the sprint center, that place was HUGE! I'm from a town of about 13,000, we have nothing like that here, and the only other concerts I've been to were outdoors. Finally..the time we were all waiting for, Daughtry! I cant even describe how I was feeling, somewhere between excited, anxious, and nervous! They did a fantastic job! I just love them boys! And then they played their last song So we do as we were instructed, go back and meet up with everyone else who were in line for Meet and Greets. My butterflies in my belly had finally gone away a few hours beforehand, but as soon as I seen the doors, they came right back. It's our turn, we go in and get our pictures signed, I wish i knew where my brain was because it sure wasnt in my head at that moment I have no idea what happened, besides the fact that they were all smiling those gorgeous smiles and I got a hug from the man himself, Chris! Our night could have stopped there and I would have been perfectly happy! And I think I could say the same for my friend Mariah, who by that time more or less was saying forget chris, whos this steely guy? This girl cracks me up! At the end of the night, I give it a 20 out of 10! It couldnt have been more perfect, I'm so thankful for the fact that I had the opportunity to meet the guys! Thank you RCAed and Daughtry for making that quite possibly the best night of my life! Oh! and just a quick funny, we were somewhere in between home and Garnett and we passed this bait shop called MasterBait and Liquor! I couldnt help but giggle
