NEW CD!?!?!?
I am going crazy! I want to know if and when daughtry is putting out a new cd! i have looked everywhere i can think of to try and find this information but i cannot find any anywhere! If anyone has ANY information PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know! thank you so much!

I agree with every single thing you have said , including this

I don't imagine for a nanosecond that any of the boys would want a less than stellar sophomore cd - they are after all true musicians and the music is their heart and soul. My only concern, and this comes from MY heart, is not that I or any other fan has to wait for the cd, we will wait because we want it to be the best, but rather that 21/2 years between releases does not constitute "right away" and is a long time on the business side of things.

Even though it is true it would be nice to have the CDs to put in the stockings for Christmas I would rather the guys wait until they feel its right than to just throw something out there for the sake of putting out a new album right away.
They really care about their music and their fans, they just want to put something out there I am sure that is right for everyone including themselves! I understand because in a world where a lot of people are so critical of everything it is imperative they put something out that we will all fall in love with all over again!
Although I know whatever they choose to put out there will be amazing, phenomenal I am going to TRY LOL and patiently wait for it!!!
Anyway that is just my opinion I think we all have our own and each is great in its own way!!!

as saying 2009 - whether that is his decision or not we will never, ever know.
I have been in the business world for over 50 years, although admittedly not the music business or anything remotely related thereof, and for that reason I am not going to say all that I really think about this - and believe me I have analyzed it from one end to the other.
The only thing I will say is that I think it is a huge mistake not to get the sophomore cd out before the Holidays IMHO ........ immeasureable sales opportunities will be missed and the spectre of a DAUGHTRYless Christmas stocking is not something to which I look forward. And I am sure I am not alone >(

From what I have heard...it looks like the new CD prob. wont be out until 09
I believe they go back into the studio to start recording in June!

I am so ready for a new album. I know that it will be awesome.
So it will definitely be worth the wait.
I am soo excited for thier new album!! I just know it's going to be AMAZING!!
according to MRD they going to start working on their second album in June,i can't hardly wait
I know they have to find the time to make it first! LOL
Oh well will be a nice surprise when they announce it! Hope they get some rest first though and family time in!!!!!
