I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...I of course started following Daughtry from American Idol. I am not a crazy huge fan of that show, but I immediately loved the sound and sincerity of Daughtry. I have been a fan ever since then. I have been wanting to see Daughty live but have not yet had the chance to do so. My friend was lucky enough to get to a concert, she had to drive over 8 hours, but she knew I had wanted to go so badly she called me from the concert and I got to hear a bit of my favorite song, "Home". I was just so happy to have hear them "live". I love that he has stayed true to his roots and love of music.
