I swear I am not making it up that I found the info about tickets going on sale May 9th on the fair website the other day! I am especially sure about the date because I know that I am taking off work May 9th for my birthday and I was thinking that I wouldn't have to stay home from work like I did last year when tickets go on sale. I was scrolling around and somewhere (but now I can't find it) it also said that this year when you buy tickets on the website the tickets you buy will be on the screen IMMEDIATELY and we won't have to wait for two weeks (or whatever it used to be in the past) to find out where your seats will be. I think the fair is probably mad that Daughtry announced awhile ago they were coming before the fair had a chance to make their big entertainment line-up announcement (usually the end of April). Last year tickets went on sale May 14th and then again on the 16th as we all know from last year's debacle. We will just have to keep checking the website and/or watch for the announcement in the newspaper.
