Denver Apology to Chris and The Band for the Denver, Colorado Show
Hi, my name is Karen.
Monday night Daughtry was opening for Bon Jovi at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado.
Unfortuntely, he had to open with many empty seats in the first 20 rows. The Bon Jovi fan club had ticketing issues which prevented most of us from getting to our seats until the last couple of Daughtry songs.
Speaking for myself, I was just excited to be going to the Daughtry show as the Bon Jovi show. Most posts on the Bon Jovi fan club's boards express the same sentiment. Some people have been posting that they hope Daughtry doesn't think we're rude or disrespectful.
Chris and the band will probably never see this post; however, I just wanted him and his fans know that we missed seeing them very very much and apologize for our absence.
I saw on the setlist how Chris was supposed to sing Blaze of Glory with Jon, and, unfortunately, that did not happen. I hope this wasn't cancelled since he thought the Denver fans were unsupportive.

so glad you posted to let us and the band know about the empty seats in Denver.
I was at the BJ/Daughtry show last month in Greensboro,NC. We were in our seat about an hour before show time.....lots of empyt seats. My friends and I were getting worried that our guys would be let down with all the empyt seats, especially, since this is Chris and Joey's hometown. Well...about 10 minutes before show time the place was packed!!! WE were so happy to see a full house for Daughtry. The Bon Jovi fans showed our guys lots of love and appreciation. The guys took the stage and rocked it out....
I had the privilege of meeting Josh Steely after the show......we had to laugh, cause he said they were starting to be concered about 20 minutes before show time at all those empty seats. WE told him we had stated the same to each other. Can't believe how fast that place filled up in 10 minutes.
Sorry you missed Chris and Jon singing BOG.......it brought the house down. The crowds applause was deafening. One of those monents you just feel you witness something amazing.
I hope you get the chance to see another BJ/Daughtry show, and hear them sing together. Two wonderful men and two amazing bands.

Most Jovi fans show a lot of respect for the opening acts, and we were so excited for Daughtry to be opening. I wish Chris had sung Blaze of Glory with Jon. I wish I could get to another show to relive the whole Bon Jovi experience (it was the best Jovi show I had ever been to out of
and then I'd get a chance to see Daughtry. We still haven't heard if there will be a summer stadium tour.
Enjoy Daughtry--hopefully he'll have a career that last over two decades just like Bon Jovi!
For at least coming on and saying this for them! Sounds to me like it was a ticketing issue anyway and nothing could be done! I am glad to see you enjoyed the show what you got to see at least!
I for one am going to the concert this month at the American Airlines center in Dallas and will be in full DAUGHTRY support yeah!!!! I just hope that the guys at least feel the love coming from the fans when we are there with them!!!!
I know the guys come on from time to time and read so they might just see this. Or if not I am sure Karen will say something.

It def. sounds like this was a ticketing issue and I'm sorry that you didn't get the chance to see Daughtry's set..it sounds like you were really looking forward to it. I'm sure the PTB will look into it to ensure this doesn't happen again.
Its nice to see a Jovi fan be so appreciative of Daughtry!
