Well I just wrote this raving review but lost it somewhere! Here we go again!
Happy Easter everyone!
The Daughtry show was well worth the 2 hour drive and the battle of all the rain and snow and the cold that I have now!
The show was held in an industrial area and held 1,000 people. The show was sold out.
The crowd was totally chill while they waited in line. Once the doors opened everyone ran to the front to secure their position. Going to a concert here in a small venue was for sure a treat! The opening band Redeem played and they were pretty good.
Daughtry hit the stage at 8:30 and it was a great show! So much energy these guys put forth when they play! I stood on the left side of the stage and rocked! It was really one of the best shows I have seen in quite some time. I am looking forward to seeing them again in Fort Lauderdal in April. Curious to see how they are in a crowd of 30,000 as opposed to 1,000! Daughtrys tour manager was a super nice guy and cool to talk to as well. The German crew were great as well.
MEET & GREET - Well I was a "winner" of just tickets...but we were let in as well for the Meet & Greet which was an extra added bonus....They did not know they were to have a M&G I felt bad for them I am sure it threw a wrench into their schedule...but it worked out and I will not a look a gift horse in the mouth....but the meet & greet was the strangest one I have ever been to. But we were 11 people in total. They took us in and gave us a pass took us behind the stage, we waited for about 20 minutes, we were given a signed photo of the band, no photos were allowed and then they came down, all 5 guys lined up in a row in the dark and we all went down the line and shook a hand. Done and over with within 2 munutes if that. BUT again it was great and much appreciated. I do wish I was able to get at least 1 pic! I did take a picture of their gear boxes! WOO HOO!
As an American living in Europe I wish them all the success in emergering into the spotlight over here!
Koln Show!!!!
