I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...
Daughtry ROCKS! Actually I was a little late on the "fan" boat because little did I know that Chris was on American Idol 5! Where was I, I don't know. But I would have liked to see that! Maybe I can find it on youtube or something. Damn I suck! See, I absolutely fell in LOVE with Daughtry when I first heard and saw the video for "Home". The song struck a chord with me because I moved out to California a few years ago from Minnesota. Man, I miss home...but I happen to hear that song and it described everything that I was feeling at that point. "These places and these faces are getting old.." So true. All I wanted to do was go home. California is just too crazy for me! But I will not dog on the weather because it's flippin beautiful here. And these californians who complain about the cold, pfft, they don't KNOW winter!! Anyway, I love Daughtry because of "Home". I listen to that song EVERYTIME I get homesick and it makes me feel better that someone out there knows exactly how I feel. But I can't forget every song on that CD! The minute I heard each track on that CD, I loved every single song. To this day it is the only music on my IPOD that I listen to....I listen to it too much. But I need my Daughtry EVERYDAY! I know I'm a big fan when I can't stop listening to the music and let me tell you now, I CAN'T STOP! I love that I can rock out to his music. I love the lyrics. And I love his voice. What more is there to say. Daughtry is the most addicting thing in my life...And I can't wait for more. Oh that John Mayer's gonna be pissed when he finds out I listen to Daughtry more than I listen to him now....
