gas is cheapest in Missouri, but people here are already complaining, and we haven't even hit the $4.00 mark yet. Our highest was Thursday the 3rd, which was $3.99, today, the 4th, it went down to $3.97. This gas price issue really is awful! In all the states!

its like $4.68 here

seriously if gas double by next year then im not taking driving lessons there would be no point if i cant even afford the gas

7 bucks for a gallon of gas??? that is ridiculous. i WILL NOT pay that. id rather walk or take the bus. i would have like zero extra money. as it is we are suffering in the finance dept lol.

I'm not sure if this will happen, but I heard that they are thinking it might double in another year. That means, $7-$8. I can't even imagine what everyone will do if that does happen.

I just added it up.........my husband and I just spent $300 on gas and diesel last week.....that's on top of the $375 we spent the week before......and we aren't even going anywhere......that's just to and from work and running the kids around!!! At this rate we will be spending more on fuel than on our house payment........that's just wrong!!!

It shot back up to $4.09 a gallon and I am not happy but I do understand there are others who have it worse than I do. My granddad told me my mom he heard it was going to stop at $4.50 or something like that in Phoenix but I don't know. I say hey you want to make gas so high you better be giving me some free money cuz I am not a movie star or some famous athlete so I don't have any money to just throw away on gas. There is relaly no reason it has to be high. It's bull shi*!! They are just taking advantage of us and they know it too!!

gas is $4.45/gal, but hey, diesel has remained at $4.99/gal now for about a week. We are traveling to Oregon this summer with our diesel truck, toyhauler and 4 quads. We only get about 9 miles/gal when we tow. We are budgeting about $1,500 just for diesel and another $500 for gas for the trailer and the quads. And then, we still set aside another $500 just in case the prices go up by another buck or so per gal. All totalled we have set aside $2,000 just for fuel!!! It's crazy, but we're going...........no matter how much we have to pay. We desperately need and deserve a vacation!!! It's just depressing that we have to pay sooooo much just for the fuel to get there and back!!!! AAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHH!!!!

are killing mee. jeez they won't go down. i heard it's supposed to go up to $7 a gallon by the end of summer. =/ the cheapest i've seen here is around $4.40 or $4.45. i can't even keep up with it cuz it changes so freakin fast. and not just gas is going up...have you guys looked at airline tickets?! oh my God..i go to chicago every year and we'd always get our tickets for about $200-$270 for a roundtrip ticket. i just bought mine the other day and i paid $436 bucks! i think my family needs to alll move outta chicago and come to california cuz i bet this is the last time anyones gonna be flying out to visit each other. and i don't think the prices are gonna drop anytime soon either. this sucks.

recently averaging $3.95-3.99 but that's still insane. Last week it got down to $3.85 and I was like it needs to go down more than that. It's all such a pain and wrong!!

Sooooo, in the last week my husband and I have spent $375 on gas and diesel for our two vehicles!!! That's just running our two kids around and getting to and from work. The only extra thing we did was travel out of town (only 30 miles away) three days in a row for a baseball tournament!!! Arrrrgggghhhhh!!! I am sooooooo frustrated!!!

i'm not sure where in southern California you are but there's also a CostCo off of Cabot Rd. and Crown Valley Pkwy.....i drive by there every week on my way to dance class, so it's not really out of my way to use that one, since i drive by there once a week ANYWAY....and there's also one in Aliso Viejo, kind of between the intersection of La Paz & Pacific Park and Alicia & Pacific Park.

i don't know how much gas is at the CostCo off of La Paz/Pacific Park in Aliso Viejo, but the one at the CostCo off of Cabot Rd. & Crown Valley Pkwy. is $4.35 a gallon so it's about 12 cents cheaper than what i'm already paying, but every little bit helps.....

and thanks for the info. about needing a membership card to use their gas. Now i wonder, does it matter if i am using my parents' membership card when i go fill up? cause i am not a member but my parents are....

I have a costco card, but the nearest costco is in Irvine, I don't know how much it would cost there, but will check it out next time I'm out that way, and you would need a card to buy at the lower price.

i just spent about $60 filling up my dad's car because he had to use my truck so he let me borrow his car to run around in (he has a 1998 Camaro Z28 - sporty car - so it DOES need the expensive kind of gas, but still!!!) it was $4.67 a gallon for the expensive stuff!!

i actually am going to start biking/walking everywhere i can, but i need to get my bike "user friendly" cause it's been years since i've ridden a bike anywhere, so i just have to find time between work to get my bike to the shop and get it fixed. I can't ALWAYS walk/bike to work.....but to most other places i go, i can walk/bike.

i did find this site where it tells you where the least expensive gas in your area is...it's good for America and Canada. According to this site, the cheapest gas in my area is at CostCo...anyone else in this thread a CostCo member? do you have to have a CostCo card or whatever to use their gas stations????

While I was filling my tank at $4.42 a friggin gallon the guy was changing the price.....WTH it's not like they just got a delivery.....and who changes prices on a Sunday COME ON.....talk about being gouged.

This morning at 7:25 I put 10 bucks of gas.... at $3.89 a gallon...then today during lunch payday i went to fill the tank... I put $50 but thats not the point... it went up $3.99 a gallon.. thats it tonight I am gonna cut a whole on the floor of my car so I can Yabba Dabba Do it all the way to work....

SO ruining my weekends...

and I have no clue how much we spent on fuel - I just don't want to know!! We went to the beach with our F250 diesel, toy-hauler trailer and 4 quads. It's about 150 mile drive each way at about 9 miles/gal. Before we left I was complaining about the station selling diesel for $5.05/gal. However, before we could get out of town it went to $5.15/gal. And then at the beach it was $5.25/gal - WTH??? Then, the trailer and the quads need reg gas and that was $4.49/gal - again, WTH??? Oh well, we all just drank a lot of alcohol and laughed about it all - what else can you do?? We had an awesome time and maybe in a few days I will add up what it all cost - but I better have a drink in my hand!!!

Their doing similiar things around our way, but the lines are absolutely insane! Burn fuel while waiting!..lol Some are giving away gas cards if your a certian # caller, but I cant ever get through! Go figure!

Thats the thing...the things you guys like to do as a family now has to be limited or put on hold. Thats just bulls***! We love taking trips to the beach (which is 2 1/2 -3 hours away), which now were gonna have to cut back! Im just plain old sick!
When Im taking my kids to daycare in the morning we pass a WaWa and everyday it goes up. Now its $3.86 and its only 24 hours later!
I need some good meds to calm my nerves!...lol

I usually fill my tank on Fridays because it's payday. Today I went to the station to get a soda. It was a rainy day, so I thought, "I should fill it today, but nah... I'll wait 'til tomorrow." Then I hear the lady say she was going to change the prices as soon as she had a minute! It was going up 10 cents a gallon!

I filled right then and there...

This whole gas thing is pi**ing me off by the second!! I do not make much money at my job, my hours are staying way below what I should be getting and I am not going to be able to do anything and it's stupid and not right. How do they expect us regular people to survive and make it? I can't belive it's over $5 in some places. Makes me scared about what's going to happen here as summer goes on. The $3.99 a gal heres is causing me to much grief and heartache!! I feel for all of you and understand.
