I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...Chris Daughtry is a true performer who gives 110% with each and every performance and his talent clearly shines thru each time he takes the stage!!! I love the fact that Daughtry is a true rock band and that they get up there and they take command of the stage every time they play.... It is so nice to see REAL performers who have become so successful and yet they still stay grounded and down to earth about the success they have achieved. I have been a music fan all of my life, but have never liked a performer they way that I like Chris.. I think it's the intensity that he brings to the stage and his voice is just amazing to me. When I was in the 8th grade, I memorized every lyric to every Duran Duran song and I wanted to meet Simon LeBon so bad.. well, let's just say that with Daughtry- it's like Duran Duran X 10 for me.... and yes, I have memorized every lyric to every Daughtry song and even the Absent Element songs too.. Chris song writing skills really shined thru on songs like "So, I lie awake" and "Weaker Side".. well, those are just a few of the reasons that I'm a fan...
