Okay, well, I have 4 hours of sleep under my belt and I am flying high! Seeing Daughtry live again was super sweet. Sad that Chris is fighting a cold again - but you couldn't tell much - he still sounds awesome. I agree with the other posts about it being loud and that Chris doesn't get a chance to have his voice shine as much as we'd like but it was still rockin'. The new song "You don't belong" started it out. Was a good starter, but I wish I could have understood the lyrics. Just so darn loud (maybe I am just too old for this stuff!). Chris if you're reading this - it would be awesome if you (or someone else) could post the lyrics to the song so we could sing along to it or at least know what you're singing on that one! I felt like I missed some of the show being that we actually sat in the wrong seats and had to move mid-Daughtry which I was none to happy about, but our fault - wrong section/right row & seats just one section over. They were on stage for about 40 - 45 minutes. I really enjoyed "What about now" - Chris' voice shone brightly on that one! Love it! The boys were rockin' Love watchin' JP and Brian having such a great time up there on that stage. Steely doin' his thing - Mr. Cool. Joey shirt off)on drums just gets better every time I see them! (this was the 4th). Love hearin' the boys doing some of the background vocals these days. Awesome! Chris, I appreciate how you always speak to the crowd and seem genuinely humble. Always getting us involved in the songs is great. I wish there weren't so many "duds" around us who were sitting the whole time for Daughtry and were asking me to sit down. I wanted to stand the whole time and show my love and rock out! I missed "There and Back Again" as the finale song for the boys, but honestly they still sang quite a few songs. (don't know the set list but it seemed they did almost all - minus 3 maybe - but we were treated to new material!) BTW, the new tour shirts for Daughtry are AWESOME! I wished the black and red one came in a larger size but those are some sweet t's! ($40 a pop though) The hoodie looked cool too but I couldn't part with $100 for that.

Now, as for Bon Jovi. I liked them back in high school but kinda lost interest after that. So, they sang quite a few songs I didn't know. They still put on quite an extensive show. Really tried to entertain the crowd, get them up and involved in the songs, moved around a lot. Shook a lot of hands, danced around a lot (which I found really quite cheezy and kinda dorky but what do I know?). Us raising our hands was fun for a bit and got us involved but after awhile it seemed very overdone. I thought it was impressive with the little side stage deal where Jon was in the crowd and shaking hands - the fans ate that up. Can tell he appreciates his fans and that stood out to me. I enjoyed the show but it didn't excite me like Daughtry does! Did like that "got it going on" song quite a bit. Always like their big hits, but honestly was a bit turned off during "Bad Medicine" with the big screens having the scantily clad chicks dancing around. The dudes probably loved that but I saw kids in the audience who I didn't think it appropriate for. Anyway...awesome job Daughtry - you guys still rock it better than anyone around! Can't wait to see you guys headline again but I'll take every morsel of Daughtry I can get! : ) Keep rockin'!
