Went to the show last night, obviously, now it's time for the review!

Our seats were behind stage and way up, and let me tell you- i was LIVID to see tons of seats in the front area vacant when DAUGHTRY took the stage. I tried not to let the fact that I should've been down there get to me- oh well.

They started out with "You Don't Belong" and it's a pretty damn amazing song! I absolutely loved the lyrics, the vocals, the guitar riffs and MASSIVE work on the drums. The song brings back a feel of Absent Element and I LOVE it. I hope to see more of this on the sophomore album! It truly is an incredible song. Big time props for composing it!

The only complaint I have about it would be that I wish they didn't open with it. ONLY BECAUSE- no one knows the words yet, therefore can't sing along! Once people learn it and are able to give some energy back I think it'll be an amazing opener!

On to the show!

Their performance was AMAZING! As usual I mean, what do you expect? But I felt the whole FORTY FIVE MINUTE SET(bogus by the way) was rushed. Not by any fault of DAUGHTRY's but I think they had to be on and off at an exact time. Leaving them no choice but to cut songs, and communication time! Chris talked to the crowd as much as he could given the time frame, but it wasnt the same. It seriously felt like they were on and off in 20 minutes. And I'll even go as far as saying it didn't feel like we were even there, like it was surreal or something because of how fast it was. I was kinda like "....thats it?" just because I'm so used to seeing them take their time and enjoy every second of it. The rushed set and the cut songs doesn't take away from their amazing performance though. Didn't let me down! I wish they had more crowd energy though. I know I was standing and jumping the whole damn time way up in section 207, and for most of the people on the floor to be sitting- it was disgusting. And it seemed like people didn't wanna be the only one standing, which is lame. I kinda felt like saying, "You're at a concert, pull the stick out of your ass and have fun" but just decided to yell louder. Ending the show with "Home" was very different only because, once again, I'm used to the strung out (in a good way!) version of TABA.

Overall- DAUGHTRY's set was amazing, kudos to "You Don't Belong"! But I still say it was cut way too short and rushed.

The one thing I can't seem to get past though would be the fact that when Jon came on, I don't recall him saying anything about DAUGHTRY.... which kinda set me off but who knows- maybe it slipped his mind.....seemed to remember those dance moves though! Not bashing! It was a good show! Wish the guys could play for 2 and a half hours, hell- I'd pay to see them play the album and do karaoke for the remaining time!

To sum this lengthy rant up, amazing performance- cheated set.

PS: BRING BACK THAT DAMN MEGAPHONE!
