I'm a fan (and you should be too) because... Chris' voice is amazing and so are Daughtry's songs. I fell in love with his voice on his first AI audition. I also have a 9 year old son who loves rock music, and he loves Daughtry, too. What is nice is that their songs ROCK, they can be moving, but they are also "clean" and have a good message, so I feel comfortable having my son listen to them. I've already seen Daughtry once opening for Bon Jovi at Tiger Jam, once at Viejas, and now I'm taking my son to see them with Bon Jovi in Anaheim for his birthday. I hope to see Daughtry cranking out more great music for years to come!
