I am a fan (and you should be too), because...
......because you have to love the fact that Chris walks in with his vision, his lyrics, his music to Clive Davis and the end result is that we are all blessed with DAUGHTRY
......because the DAUGHTRY cd is an amazing arrangement of songs..all better than the last and one that plays over and over again on my ipod, car, computer, cd player, etc...you get the picture
.....because everytime I see my five year old daughter pick up her Barbie guitar and sing EACH AND EVERY word to "Over You" proves that DAUGHTRY's fan base is multigenerational....plus that sight warms my heart each time!
.....because when said five year old brings in her own copy of the DAUGHTRY cd to her preK teacher on show and tell with the letter "D" , the teacher is so excited and the CD is the soundtrack for muscial chairs for the day- and is loved by her classmates- we all know kids are the toughest critics
....because these 5 men while they are sharing their talents with the world, yet are also sacrificing their time with their families and those near and dear to their hearts.....thank you boys for all of your graciousness!
.....because the fact that "Home" was written by Chris as a love song for his family, yet has become an anthem across the country for the troops, homecomings, and is featured on AI... is yet another example of how insanely talented he is
.....because for those of us whose breath was taken away on the results show on May 10th can now be rest assured that DAUGHTRY will be around for a long long LONG time
.....because FOUR MILLION CD's (certified!) and the people that purchased them CAN'T be wrong!
