When I was in elementary school, my cousin, Kim, introduced me to Bon Jovi. They immediately became my one of my favorite bands and has been for 20 years. (Am I really that old?) Then, as a fan of American Idol, I was introduced to my new favorite band Daughtry. Now after 20 years, a daughter (she's three) and working hard everyday, my cousin (4 kids for her) and I finally get to go to a Bon Jovi concert together. It'll be the greatest girls trip ever (even if our seats are in the nosebleeds). My 3 year old really wants to go, but she'll have to wait a few years before her first rock concert. She and I listen to "our" Daughtry CD every morning on the way to daycare, and any other time we are in the car. "Over You" is our favorite song.
