I thought it was a great show although I think Phillips Arena has the WORST sound for Rock concerts. I have seen concerts in over 15 venues, big and small, and they are all better. The sound is a bit muffled and it is very hard to understand them when they speak in my opinion.

That being said I loved the Home Seet Home opening to "Home". When Jon brought Chris out to sing I was excited. They did a great job and it was by far my favorite song of the evening. I saw Daughtry last June at the Gwinnett Arena and the sound was much better.(even though he was sick)

Daughtry is a star and soon we will be seeing them as the headliner and get to enjoy more than 30-40 minutes of a great performer!

I know! I have never heard Jon be so supportive of the openers. He genuinely is happy for the guys. They have had some great openers over the years, but this tour has been my ultimate...except for Jon's God awful hair...LOL!!

Can I ask why you have been disappointed with Jon lately?

In Atlanta, Richie stood on the side of the stage watching the Daughtry set. Just again shows you HOW MUCH respect the Jovi guys have for this band. It makes me PROUD!!!

Whatching that clip again and hearing Jon say THIS WILL BE THE LAST TIME WE WILL SEE THIS BAND AS AN OPENER, made me restore my LOVE OF JON again! I am SOOO DISAPPOINTED in him lately, but hearing him say such great things about Chris and Daughtry makes me happy.
AND when I personally thanked Jon in Chicago for DAUGHTRY he flashed that BEAUTIFUL BIG SMILE!!! HE is soo proud of the boys and it is GENUINE coming from him!!! HE HAS NEVER been so positively VOCAL on an opening act before!! Not with Nickelback, NOT with the Goos. He is soo proud!!
Remember when LIVE opened for Bon Jovi? I WISH I could have gone to europe for those shows!

It was most definitely an adventure!!! Didn't get any really good pics of DAUGHTRY cause I was too far back. Bon Jovi came out in the audience right next to us so I did get some decent ones of him. Lord, why couldn't it have been Chris??? Bon Jovi put on a great show though. Made you feel as much at home as DAUGHTRY does. Can't wait till DAUGHTRY has enough songs to do a 2 1/2 hour set! Woooohoooooooooooooooo!!!

My husband and I drove over 8 hours from New Orleans, LA to see Daughtry and boy was it worth the drive. Chris was absolutely amazing. He is a great performer. We had floor seats but in section 4 so I was not able to take many clear pictures. I got about 70 out of 300 that came out okay. Would love to receive some via e-mail from other die hard fans who had closer seats. We have been Daughtry fans since the beginning. LMAO at the video of Chris and that wig. Jon was awesome in the positive things he said about Chris and the band. I never paid much attention to Bon Jovi, outside of some songs of theirs I liked; now I will be paying more attention to them and it will be interesting how they progress in these later years of their career.

Chris and the guys are in the early stages of their career but I am excited for what thy can accomplish together. Rock on....luv these dudes!!!!

The show was great! Sold out or very close to it. Daughtry was great, Chris threw out his cowboy hat to the crowd. Some lucky person got it. I was so impressed with Bon Jovi. I went to the concert to see Daughtry, and even though I really liked BJ back in the day, I probably wouldn't have gone to see just them. They were fantastic! They really got the crowd into it. Not one person sitting! I gotta give them their props!

Also, Jon had some really nice things to say about Chris and Daughtry. He said before he met Chris he had heard Chris' version of Wanted Dead or Alive and thought it was great. Then they met and he really liked him. "So he's worked really hard and he's made an album thats gone 4x platinum!!! This will be the last time they open for ANYONE!, Welcome Chris Daughtry" And he came out to sing Blaze with a funky rock star wig on! Everyone laughed hysterically, esp Jon and the band. They were great together, loved it!

The show was great! My favorite part was Jon and Chris singing "Blaze of Glory" together. I am a BonJovi fan and have been since 'back in the day' but I gotta tell ya....Chris can flat out SING that song!

I CAN NOT wait for that video. I'm kinda bummed the tour is over now because I'm going to miss all of the great reviews and pics and videos.

That's awesome! I can't wait for your video and would love to hear more details about the show. How was the crowd? Did they give our boys lots of love?

Jon gave another little speech about the guys tonight. Saying they will never again be opening for anyone! They will be headliners from now on. He was very proud of the guys and really wished them well. Then Chris came out to sing Blaze with a rockstar wig on and Jon died laughing. I of course have it on video but will have to upload later.
Great ending to their tour!

I hope you guys are enjoying your last opening for Bon Jovi. You guys must have had the time of your lives! You never did make it to Boston though...thank goodness I flew to Chicago for my VIP!

WOW!!!! I had an amazing night last night! The show was great! Daughtry preformed about 50 minutes and Bon Jovi rocked until about 11. Bon Jovi's crew set up a little stage right in front of section 104 and sang and then walked on a rail in front of section 103 and 102 and reached out and touched MANY fans that were reaching for him. I suspect that tonight he will set up on the other side. Of course Chris came back out and sang with Bon Jovi. Daughtry was amazing but it was depressing to see people sitting down that GREAT seats. I would've been on my feet singing and loving every minute of it (like I was in section 319)

Ticketmaster still has some great seats available for this show...wish I could afford to buy them, but I spent all my money at the show in Melbourne! LOL!

Just found out that I have to go in for surgery- Can't make it to the show! I have one ticket for the 4/30 show in atl. Just saw them in Nashville last week! This show rocked for over 3 hours!
