I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...when I first saw Chris' audition on Season 5 of American Idol and he kicked it with The Letter, I was blown away by his vocals! I didn't know that a rocker could project a certain degree of "soul" the way he had in that short 40 seconds! At that moment he had me as a FAN! Then when I saw his "story" evolve on A.I. about his wife and her children and how he stepped up to the plate per se, I knew that in MY EYES THIS MAN WAS THE AMERICAN IDOL!
